How many folks have multiple accusations of child molestation against them and never face any form of justice? If that number is high, or even if it's only one, is it OK because they were rich and/or talented? How many times does some child have to say "THAT man molested me" before someone puts "THAT man" someplace where he can't hurt children anymore? Are we sympathetic to the person who kills someone on their third or fourth DUI? Are we perhaps a little sympathetic because they had some "great talent"? The GOOD news is--the media frenzy that will surround his death may give the press reprieve needed for Farrah Fawcett's family and friends to lay her to rest in peace and with the dignity HER memory deserves.

He's older than me, but I LOVED him also. Until...he wiped out any admiration I'd ever had for him when it came out that he was a pedophile, and he essentially lured little boys into his mansion and his bed. If Neverland had been down the street from any of you and he'd tried to seduce your sons with pet monkeys, merry-go-rounds, and closets-full of "costume pajamas" he wanted them to wear when they had "sleep-overs" where he slept in the bed with them, I doubt you'd be the least bit mournful of his passing. "Don't agree with his chosen lifestyle"? The man was a pedophile who enticed little children with expensive toys and such at his "castle" and essentially got away with it because of his money. It would matter to me if he could lay golden eggs and gave them away for the asking. It doesn't mitigate what he did or who his was, talented or not. JMHO.

OK, I made the mistake last night of watching "Ratzilla" just before going to sleep. The were discussing giant, non-native rat invasions in the US, particularly the Gambian pouch rat in South Florida. These disease-ridden creatures grow to the size of small raccoons and eat anything and everything. Yuck. Raccoon-sized rats. Here's a link about them, and another link. Now, I didn't find anything current, so maybe they've gotten rid of them by now. Still...YUCK! We need giant rats like we need hissing cockroaches. What kind of "zilla" would give you bad dreams?

I have absolutely no problem believing that was the reason. As someone who also speaks Spanish, I can only imagine how their previous name was butchered. As far as their food--we have only eaten there a few times, but I LOVE their little soft chicken tacos. They are served on soft corn tortillas, the chicken is seasoned just right, and if you order them with chopped onion and cilantro and squeeze a little fresh lime on them, they are as good as any authentic Mexican taco I've had anywhere around Atlanta. Mmmm. Now I know what I'm having for lunch today.
