    That roofing issue happened to me many years ago when I was building a house in suburban KCMO. It was a street that had been developed and the lots were for sale by the developer to any builder who had a client. We picked out a lot and the house was under way, to the point that the shingles were being delivered.     Click on the little down arrow to the right of your name in the header. A drop down box will have a menu item "Manage Ignore Pref". Type the offender's name in, and (almost) PRESTO, they are gone.

    Years ago, I was told by King Jerry Shearin that the Marshall's office was the "Commission's private little police force". His very words. The Commission knows they can't control whoever is in the Sheriff's office, so they have their own little gestapo.

    That house reminds me of the one that burned in front of West Ridge Church on 92. That rubble sat there for a couple of years. A building at E. Paulding and Mt.Tabor burned and the rubble sat there for 3 or 4 years in various stages of clean up. We have a Marshall's office that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about enforcing ordinances. I have personally spoken to David Austin at the time these properties I mentioned. The house on 92 by the Church was allegedly involved in some insurance hold up.
