  1. Ok, Animal. Slow down. Try to form complete (short) sentences containing just one thought and subject each. Then another sentence, and another. Pretty soon, you've conveyed your thoughts and people know what the hell you are talking about. I read your post three times and I have no idea what you are talking about. I bet I'd be interested, if I could only follow you. The 5 W's apply. Who. What. When. Where. Why? Maybe I'm out of touch, but who is Jason Anaitarte, and why is he the lead to your topic?
  2. Ya know? Contrary to your MULTIPLE obviously one-sided diatribes about this lawsuit, there IS another side to the story. The county apparently has a differing opinion. And whether their silence about the matter is because of legal restraints or just the fact that they have some "class" doesn't alter the fact that we are only hearing ONE side of the story. Funny thing is, your attempts to litigate in the court of public opinion has done nothing. Except waste bandwidth. Everything that happens in Paulding County, GA does not revolve around the right-of-way into your little chicken ranc
  3. Well, just wow! I've met David Austin several times. I would never have described him as unpleasant and hard to deal with. On the contrary, I found him to be quite friendly and engaging. Maybe you have David confused with his brother Boyd? Unpleasant and difficult might be a good description of the brother.
  4. So, ZC, I have a serious question: Have you ever formulated an opinion about anything without consulting the annals of NPR? Have you ever had an original thought? The "expert" you quoted was a damn reporter for AP. Hardly a believable source. Ha! I said "annals" and "NPR" in the same sentence. That's an unintended pun.
  5. I think I've seen enough leftist "reform". Dodd-Frank is a glaring example. Anybody dumb enough to invest in FaceBook deserves whatever happens to them. I have no sympathy for them at all.
  6. That's what the "Ignore" function is for. I've had TP and a few more on that list for a long time. Makes PCom a much more pleasant experience, IMO.
  7. Are you saying that vandalism and tagging the street and signs is "free speech"?
  8. When I read your post, it reminded me of something that happened with a former business partner. His wife came home unexpectedly and caught him with a neighbor. He said to her "What are you going to believe? Me or your eyes?" Anyway, I'm thinking that your "Mom's eyes" are more accurate than some test. Go with your gut.
  9. I can proudly say that I have never wasted even 5 seconds of time watching that program.
  10. The unfortunate part of mono is that you don't get immunity from one episode like you do from measles or chicken pox. You can get it again and again and again. I had mono the first and second times while I was in college. I've had it at least 4 more times.
  11. Why, of course. Let's focus our attention on everything but the target. Couldn't run the risk of actually offending a criminal, could we?
  12. And I'm not a terrorist intent on blowing up any airplanes, but that doesn't stop the TSA from patting me down and treating me (and everybody else) like we are criminals. Instead of focusing their attention on Middle-Easterners who are the likely culprits. So, if asking some Arizonan to prove his citizenship is a violation of his/her rights, how do you justify making travelers take off their shoes and be patted down before getting on an airplane?
  13. Just a guess that if the bottom had fallen out of AlGore's "Carbon Credits" scheme, 'ol Pubster wouldn't have made a comment.
  14. Ah, yes. George Bush. The best thing one could say about his Presidency is that Obama is worse. I could care less what GWB has to say about anything, then or now. He was merely the lesser of two evils between himself and Gore/Kerry. Much as Romney is/will be this fall. And the CBO...ha. Nothing but a in-house rubber stamp agency operated by a group of politicians with an approval rating in single digits. next thing we know, you'll be referencing Bill Mahar as one of your experts.
  15. Ah, some more educated economic theory from our resident scholar. NOT.
  16. Somebody who uses a picture of Joe Biden as their avatar is going to discuss credibility? OK, then. What you really meant was that your dumb azz theory about oil prices got handed back to you in pieces and you had no plausible rebuttal to what are simple economic facts understood by almost everyone with an IQ higher than a 3-day old puppy. Typical leftist tactic, if you can't dazzle 'em with diamonds, just baffle them with BS. And then stomp off and pout when you get caught in (another) big fat lie. Buh, bye.
  17. Actually, retail gas prices are much less a function of consumer demand than they are of supply restraints. Possibly recreational use of vehicles, boats, etc might increase if the pump prices were lower, but the "fixed" demand of daily commutes and deliveries isn't suppressed much by pump prices. Money that has to be diverted to higher pump prices is not available then, for discretionary expenditures. That means if I have to spend $800 to $1000 each month on additional fuel costs to run my service trucks, that money isn't available to, for example, buy another new truck, or increase inve
  18. Right, And the artificial suppression of SUPPLY has nothing to do with prices? Typical leftist thinking. The fact that the tree hugging enviro wackos have blocked refineries being built, off-shore lease exploration, drilling in ANWAR, blocked pipelines, caused implementation of un-needed regulations on auto manufacturers, and cozied up with their buddies at OPEC have nothing to do with increased energy prices? It's just co-incidence, isn't it, that gas prices dropped a few cents right after Canada announced that they were going to re-apply for the Keystone pipeline by re locat
  19. As does Hall of Famer Bob Gibson.
  20. Thanks for that idea. I'll give that a try, nothing else seems to convince that damn plotter to print all the way across the 36" width.
  21. Thanks for the offer. It would be a bit hard to do, since I'm in Chattanooga on this job. Appreciate the offer, tho.
  22. If your router/modem is like mine, it is a separate unit. Powered by its' own source, plugged into the phone jack for DSL (or cable) for the internet data. The desktop should have a CAT 5 cable from the router to the network card in the desktop. You can unplug the entire desktop from the modem/router and it will keep on broadcasting the WiFi signal to your laptop. At least that is the way my setup works. Now, if you have a printer hooked up to the desktop, you have another issue. At least, if you want to print from a wireless laptop.
  23. These are storefront glass elevations and door details that are sent to me in .pdf files. I'm not sure what software created them, but all I have to work with is a .pdf reader. One of the options of size is 36w x 24h on the print preview. When it goes to print to the plotter, it rotates the plot so that the print uses a 36" feed, wasting a 12x36 piece of paper. I have fought with this configuration for a couple of rolls of paper, and still can't get it right. I know there's just one setting I'm missing, but haven't figgered it out yet.
  24. WOW!!! Thank you. I had been hunting for that manual all over the internet and couldn't find it anyplace. Awsome. I really appreciate that link.
  25. I know this is a long-shot. I have a perfectly operational old HP Designjet 650C plotter. It prints on 36" wide roll stock. Used for printing construction plans, etc. My problem is figuring out how to make the plotter print the size prints I want and in the correct orientation. I'm trying to print 24 x 36 size of a set of plans. I can get the 24x36 OK, but it is turned 90* on the paper, meaning that I'm using a 36x36 piece of paper. Is there anybody out there that might know the secret?
