  1. And the Mickey D's could have been "snacks" for an early morning meeting with staffers. Or lunch for department heads during a working meeting.
  2. iTunes is the only way to add an app to an Apple iPhone. You have to have the account and money in it, even if the app that you are downloading is free. Is this all the "scandal" you can dredge up?
  3. Not for very long if Xerox finds out about them.
  4. Wow, that's transparent. What branch of Tony's family are you in?
  5. Well, he WAS wiggling his worm......
  6. It seems pretty obvious that to engage in 'professional engineering", one must have a registration certificate as called for in the highlited last sentence of paragraph 10. "Somebody" at Heath's engineering firm better be registered. Maybe there is an employee or his wife who has the magic piece of paper?
  7. Apparently you now have grasped the difference between immigrant and illegal. Good for you. It only took 20 posts or so. I think I'll let Ms Morrison try to clarify her position without the Zoospin. She's confused enough without you "helping" with your interpretation
  8. [quote name='former member' timestamp='1340239773' post='3652341' Do you not agree that non-citizens can have drivers licenses? Do you not agree that the law says a drivers license is "good enough" to show citizenship? Now tell me how that makes ANY sense at all? What the law says is that possession of a driver's license is presumptive proof of being in the USA legally. It has nothing to do with citizenship. Get it?
  9. Really? You want to back that up with some facts? Please show me where illegals can get a drivers license. Please. The requirements for immigrants to be granted a Georgia driver's license are: Valid (not expired) foreign passport with I-94 card or stamp or I-551 stamp Permanent resident alien card (I-551) Employment Authorization Card (I-766) Reentry Permit (I-327) For Refugees/Asylums: I-94 only (no passport required), or Refugee Travel Document (I-571) For F-1, F-2, J-1, J-2 status: I-94 with valid foreign passport AND I-20 (F-1/F-2) or DS-2019 (J-1/J-2) For customers from
  10. I'm really curious how in the world ANYBODY could run up a $800,000 tab with Xerox, short of being a government? What business could use that much toner and paper? There must be a story behind all this?
  11. I'm not a veterinarian, but I know a horse's arse when I see one.
  12. I think the question is really if he is PRACTICING engineering. If he is providing engineering/design services without being registered with the state, that's a big problem. If he has been registered with the state and is no longer doing engineering for hire, and didn't renew his license, then this is a non-issue. I think a time line is important here. Not that it would matter to this voter, anyway. JK for me.
  13. I suspected there was an issue. I had no idea it was the better part of a million dollars worth of a problem. I don't like any one of the three of them. Why is it ALWAYS having to pick the lesser of the evils?
  14. Just WOW. there's a big difference between spreading rumor and innuendo and having court documents to make a point. I'm no fan of Mr. James for other reasons, but his exposure of Paulette's apparent disdain of court orders is pertinent to an informed electorate. I don't call that mud slinging. The problem with him talking about what he would do if elected is that his "platform", (if that's what you want to call it) as displayed here on pCom in some of his ads advocates some pretty harsh penalties for criminals. Now, the argument isn't about whether a child molester deserves the death
  15. Exactly!!!! +++++++++ A psycho, a bottle of booze, and a keyboard is a dangerous combination.
  16. Nobody but Craig Rainwater will ever work on any HVAC stuff at my house.
  17. Look at the bright side of that. If there were bureaucrats sitting in those offices, they'd be figuring out ways to make your life more difficult and spending more of your tax dollars.
  18. I disagree vehemently. You are darn straight that I carry proof of residency/citizenship. It's called a GA drivers' license. And if the fools at the Gold Dome hadn't knuckled under to D.C. and issued drivers licenses/ID cards to ILLEGALS, we wouldn't have to be having this discussion. Apparently all you want to do is perpetuate the situation. If those who are here legally are "offended" by having to prove it, maybe they will work in their own community to get the ILLEGALS to either comply with the laws of the USA and apply for citizenship, or take their butts back to where they
  19. I read the other day that 92% of the French population support Obama's reelection. That, right there, tells me all I need to know about France.
  20. I have seen some tendencies in dealing with prospective customers in the past few months that I've never seen before. I do a lot of specialized glass repair ( stained and leaded glass doors and windows). For years and years, the only thing customers asked was "when can you get here?" Price was almost never an issue, at least not in the top 3 or 4 things they asked about. Since early spring, I've had customer after customer try to negotiate prices, want to get quotes from other people, delay having the work done, etc. Now, my prices haven't changed since 1/1/2008. Prices ar
  21. I'm thinking about writing in someone. Hey, Pigpen??? You game?
  22. Whew. You REALLY need a campaign manager. Have you gotten used to the taste of those size 12's yet? Cause you have sure had yer foot in yer mouth a lot the last few days.
