What do you expect from someone who doesn't know that water runs downhill?

When Missouri instituted the safety inspections, the only places that were licensed stations were full-service chains that just happened to do brakes, tires, and the like. Firestone stores were big into inspections, and there's no telling how many perfectly good tires got "deadlined" and un-needed brake jobs got imposed on motorists by unscrupulous shops. At least TN and GA have independent locations that don't have something to sell in order to make the car "pass".

The one in Huntsville, AL needs to be shut down. I complained to "corporate" about their behavior, and found out that apparently each location is "independent", similar to a franchise. According to the people I spoke to, they have little control over what each location does (or doesn't do.)

I understand exactly how you feel about that. I just don't have time to have a garage sale, etc.

We've been going through accumulations of household decor items, like vases and small framed prints and the like. I was planning on taking them to Goodwill, but when I was at a Goodwill location over in Alabama a month or so ago, I was treated very rudely. I'm having second thoughts about any further donations to them, so here's my question: What's a worthy charitable donation place? With a location in Paulding?
