  1. Going to Luray Caverns in the Shenandoah Valley...Little getaway before we move. The kids still have 3 more weeks of school here. I was at Arlington 2 weeks ago...Seeing all of the crosses and attending a funeral for a friend was very sad................The grave site that stood out to me most...A soldier that was born in 1991....He wasn't much older than my oldest, who will be going into the service soon. Bitter sweet, a husband that just retired after 25 years and a son joining............
  2. Y'all keep saying she is crazy...If that is the case she shouldn't get the death penalty. She doesn't LOOK crazy to me just EVIL. But I am against the death penalty....But at the same time why waste tax payers $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ So torn on the issue. At the same time like Die HARD said I was in the military and just recently supported the military, mainly DRONES...But I look at it this way, the drones help save the US Troops, but they kill the enemy.
  3. His recipe calls for 1-4 beers.
  4. I made Papi's chili yesterday. I had to change a few things. They didn't have jalapenos or ground pork at the store so I ended up using Italian sausage and bought some fresh Pico instead. I used 4 beers and Maso instead of the cornbread. I only used half of the seasoning and added a little extra salt to taste. Topped it with green onions, guac and cheddar cheese. OMG! It was so good. Thanks for posting the recipe.
  5. Moving back next month. Just sitting around waiting for the kids to finish school. Moving to the Peachtree City area. Still have my house in Dallas.
  6. Veterans I just saw this today. What a great Company to be doing this. Great way to start a career in Real Estate. This is also the same company I am using to buy my new house. http://www.metrobrokers.com/careers/veterans
  7. Really not to smart. Looks like he had a bad LIFE STYLE LIFT.
  8. I have read that this is the closest pain to natural childbirth that men can experience.
  9. Not really, when I have people brag to me about much money they will be making etc....I just come back with how high the tax bill will end up being. I am thinking of not working anymore, for that reason.............
  10. That's not true, I heard them mention Brad, Jolie was saying how supportive he was in her decision (Saw that yesterday) today on the news Brad was saying how strong etc she was. (This came from reporters).
  11. I just found this site to tell you if you should get the test or not. It did say that it is best to first test the living relative that has breast cancer first. I'm thinking my DR said that to me because that would probably be the only reason the insurance would cover it...Since my Mom was over age 50 when she was diagnosed. "6.How do people know if they should consider genetic testing for BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations? Currently, there are no standard criteria for recommending or referring someone for BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutation testing. In a family with a history of breast and/or o
  12. I worked with a bunch of Sailors and Marines....What do you think? The one that harassed me the most I ended up marrying him
  13. Did your insurance cover it? If not how much was the cost? Thank you
  14. They said on the news this morning that the test costs 3K and it's not covered by insurance. I had my DR in GA ask me if I wanted to do the test a few years ago...My Mother had breast cancer and died from it....Since she passed away from it and we don't have any of her blood work on file, he said that I couldn't even have the test if I wanted it. What makes you think that? http://famousplastic.net/2008/11/08/did-angelina-jolie-have-plastic-surgery/

    A/C

LOL I am lucky, I am the only one that messes with the temp...At work well that was a different story, those sailor's would wear the hot uniforms, the A/C would blow directly on me so I would go out and put it on 75 one of the guys would try to change it to 70 and I would just go back and switch it, it was a losing battle for him...The two Sailors in my office they knew better and would just take their shirts off I would just say at my age if I'm not hot it isn't hot  Not sure what they are going to do now with 80 degree temps..............................

    A/C

That is what I am thinking...I usually set mine at 75, I get cold easily..DH and the boys are saying that is to hot. I was asking because now on base all of the military and GS and contractors have to live with 80 degree office temps....Due to the Sequestration. Going to be a long hot hot summer for them. I remember back in the winter when I was still working there it got hot in the building when the temps were in the mid 60's....................... 68 I would be freezing................LOL

  19. Pretty much a daily event for me. Start off with heat and then have to turn the A/C on. Is winter ever going to end
  20. I read about that yesterday. They talk about how so many women are attacked while in the military. In all of my years in the military and around the military, Army and Navy, (worked legal) I never heard of women being attacked like that. Worst thing that ever happened to me was some Sailor off the ship in Rota tried to kiss me on the cheek because he thought I was Spanish.....When I asked him WTH he thought he was doing he called me the B word.
  21. I cant think of anything off hand, I always try to dress nice.

I have read on here how bad it was, I liked it because it wasn't that busy, so I was able to get in and out...... Glad my daughter wasn't with me....Thanks for the tip..................
