That was our situation. Everyone that mattered had our cell numbers. All we were getting were sales calls. I checked the number of calls we got on our caller ID. In 3 months time, we had 6 calls and Not one of them were from anyone important.

Last winter my mom got the flu ( from her shot ) and my uncle nearly died from Pneumonia .. despite being vaccinated. Nobody else in our family got the flu at all. A few sniffles and that was about it. Eating right, vitamins and exercise are our bodies best defense.

We also didn't get a signal at home with Sprint. Switched to At&t .. now no issues. Allot of times it's the provider that's the problem.

Not in our house The one year we " tried " Public School .. The kids were constantly sick. After 3 months .. yeah no more. Last year we didn't have to go to the docs once for an illness

Not worried at all here. It's all hype IMO. We won't be getting shots this year or any year. We'll continue to take our precautions. The last swine flu outbreak .. More people died from the vaccine than the actual flu itself.

You can now go through your cell phone. At least you can with ADT. We, however got rid of our alarm system. After 7 years of throwing money away. We decided dogs, a nice gun, and good lighting at night were ample enough to keep perps away.

I've always thought that bottled water is silly. Why on Earth would you pay someone to put water in a bottle for you ? Not to mention all the plastic bottles filling our landfills I'll keep my American made refillable bottle that doesn't leak ... and drink water from the tap. My kids love the big mouth Gatorade bottles. They will buy a Gatorade and then keep the bottle to refill. Some of the bottles we have had for over 3 years. We wash them in the dishwasher, and put them in the cabinet .. never had a single problem. I guess it depends on the type of bottle.

We have had cell phones only for almost a year .. I'll never have a land line again

What I believe and this is what I teach my kids. Creationism or Evolution .. nobody knows because we weren't here .. or at least don't remember it. I have never understood why you can't have both. Why can't you say .. Ok God or whoever created us .. but we evolved ? Why do people have issues with that ? I know because that's not what they were taught growing up. People need to open their minds a little and quit squabbling over something we'll likely never know for sure in this lifetime. I don't get squabbling over such things .. there are more important things in life to debate .. IMO.

Nope, not at all. Everyone disagrees on something .. life's too short to hold onto negative feelings.

I don't understand what is so scary. History has shown that the planet cleanses itself every so many million or so years. We are overdue. I personally don't find it scary. Even if I did .. I would have to be pretty egotistical to believe that I could stop it. It is what it is .. and we are just going to have to deal with it.

I don't know of any decent counselors. However, I can tell you what worked for me. I attempted suicide when I was 15. This came after years of being depressed and my parents didn't notice. Anyway, after my attempt .. we tried counseling. It was a nightmare. I didn't want to talk to strangers, I wanted to talk to my parents. Anyway, this is what we did. I had a long talk with my parents, They took me out of public school .. I got a full time job. I went on to get my GED and college. For some reason, it was school and lack of parenting where my issues fell. I was bullied, picked on AL

I haven't worn hose at all since high school. That being said .. I used to wear the knee high ones also .. I was VERY thin. Regular ones would always slide down on me. I wore the same ones for years .. never had a problem with them being stretched out or anything. I would also go with the socks in your case .. that beats wearing full panty hose anyway.

What we did ... since our son doesn't have his license yet .. but has a car. We added the car to my husband and I's insurance instead. It's only another $25 per month. He can have it switched over after he gets his license .. and has a job to pay for it.

I play classical music in my house during the day ( it helps my kids with school work ) and we keep fans on throughout the house. I also have wind chimes everywhere ... if TV were on .. it would really be noisy around here. I like sound .. I just like peaceful, nice sound.

While yes, they can be annoying when misused .. they are extremely valuable I have found. My mother refuses to get one, and there have been a few times now where she's been stranded and couldn't get to a phone. I would rather have and not need it .. than need it and not have it.

Hand down TV .. have no use for it

I'm well aware. My father has Diabetes and it came as a side effect of his cocktail of medications he has to take for his heart. Medications are LOADED with sugar. Simple fact is .. no sugar = weight loss = less diabetes. While sugar doesn't always cause it .. it is hidden in most foods that we eat .. and it is a Major factor in Diabetes.

We use pure cane sugar in our house, it's more expensive .. but well worth it IMO. We also don't eat very many sweets at all. The ones we do eat are home made. You would be Surprised what all has HFCS in it. I have found canned veggies, jarred pickles ... ect. The ONLY brand of pickles that doesn't have it is Vlasic Pickles .. at least that I have found.

Sprinkle your carpet with borax ( kills all bugs ) .. let it sit for a few hours .. vacuum. You can also use salt ( it smothers them ). Wash your pets with the Original Blue Dawn dish soap .. it works. Wash ALL bedding and vacuum as often as possible. This will get rid of them .. and your animals won't suffer from the harsh chemicals. Been doing this for 3 years .. haven't seen a flea since I started doing it.

Only cheap, processed foods We have to spend a little more but it's worth it to keep that crap away from my kids.
