I let my kids make decisions for themselves as long as it's reasonable. It is their life, not mine. I believe kids are much smarter than we give them credit for. I also believe that we are entitled to free will .. not just adults, but children as well.

Just so you know .. there are other options out there. My ex hub is 5'5" .. he wears special shoes that make him 5'8". They are a little expensive and he only wears them when he works. It's an alternative and I think a much safer alternative than drugs.

Get em pulled if it's that much of a deal to you. No, you won't be left with a gap.

I had the most incredible experience 16 years ago. We went in for an ultrasound for our baby. We didn't want to know the sex. Then her beautiful face appeared on the ultrasound. She was SO pretty, we knew it was a girl instantly. The doctor argued with us. Saying, it wasn't a real way to determine .. we however knew it to be true. 4 months later .. she came out as gorgeous as ever. She's almost 17 now and I still remember that ultrasound like it was yesterday.

Acting like my kids keeps me young I guess it depends on the kids and what they do .. lol. Mine don't do much that I wouldn't do.

I can't think of anything .. IMO 30 is still young I'm 38 and can't think of anything. See ... I have seen teenagers that shouldn't wear miniskirts. I have seen some 30+ women with knockout legs. So, honestly mini skirts it depends on the lady.

West GA Dentistry for Children?
Teatime replied to Haunted Junkyard Hayride's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I sure hope so ... 4 of my kids have appointments this month. I would try calling again later. There have been times, where I didn't get an answer. Usually if I call back a little later, someone answers. -
My son was offered the shots when he was young. Because he is " short " plain and simple. His father is only 5'5" and I'm 5'2". So heredity is against him. When the doctor offered, I told her where to stick her shots. I would never do something like that to my children. I would rather have him deal with being short, than have to deal with all the nasty side effects of drugs. It is sad what this world has come to.

Yeah, whatever .. you go on .. it's your body and your family .. I'll be a little smarter than that I am so grateful that I was raised to think for myself. That's what we've always done and will continue to do

It is scary all the way around. My dad got the vaccine because he has a compromised immune system. In his case, it's worth the risk. The rest of us however, we'll just hang in there and take precautions like we do every year.

I understand. When my dad was in ICU for 3 months .. it took all I had in me to leave. I went everyday and it was a battle. I had the opposite happen to me. The doctors told us he would never survive. Asked my mom to pull the plug a few times. I talked her out of it, that was 3 years ago. He's still improving to this day. You'll know what to do .. I'll keep you and your daddy in my prayers.

I believe you should go see your dad I have always went with my gut instincts. I am almost always right. It can be a good thing most of the time. However, it's very scary when it's not. Prayers for your daddy

I have found that it's a dog eat dog world out there. I have had to get mean on several occasions in order to get results. It's sad, and it goes against who I am. However, I refuse to be walked on or ignored. I'm also the same way. My husband calls me his chahuahua I look all small and cute .. until you piss me off. Then you better run -
I am SO happy and proud that I am a vegan ... this is just disgusting. Full Story WASHINGTON — An animal rights group is calling on the nation's largest grocery story chains to post warnings on egg cartons that unwanted male chicks are ground up alive, after videotaping the common industry practice at an Iowa egg hatchery. In letters sent to the companies this week, Chicago-based Mercy for Animals says its undercover videotape at Hy-Line North America's hatchery in Spencer, Iowa, "exposes one of the industry's best kept secrets — that the egg industry tears male chic

And our society wonders where girls get their self esteem and values from What's really sad is all the parents that will mindlessly buy it for their daughters. As long as people actually buy this crap, toy makers will continue to make it. Don't blame the guy who created it, blame the morons who support it.
