Polio surge in Nigeria after vaccine virus mutates

Me and my ignorance. It couldn't be from experience could it ? I've been vaccinated for measles 4 times since I was 18 .. still not immune. My mother got Tetnus even thought she was vaccinated. My son got chicken pox .. despite being vaccinated. My nephew came as close to death as one could get from his first set of shots. My daughter also had a horrible reaction from her 5 year old set of shots ( last shots we've gotten in our family ) You see what I see as ignorance is people who think they are smarter than Mother Nature. People like yourself or the CDC. I do kn -
I also never get sick and I play in the dirt I have been seriously sick maybe a handful of times in my life * knocks on wood *. My kids are always yelling at me to wash my hands I eat right, workout and get plenty of sleep .. that is what I contribute my immune system to. Yup, I think it's allergies here as well. Glad we haven't gone in for it .. I would have to tell where to stick that test I am against unnecessary testing. I believe it's one of the things that has driven health care so high.

I believe there are consequences for everything. Everything has " good " and " bad ". It's how the world is balanced out. People need to balance it out for themselves. I am so glad we don't vaccinate anymore. However, there are consequences no matter what you choose to do. I personally don't see how pumping my kids with chemicals that could kill them .. in order to protect them, makes any sense. And in this case mutate onto something different. Mankind will never stomp out anything .. it will always come back bigger and badder .. it's nature. We can't defeat it, even if we are egotistica -
I'm extremely tidy. Which can drive one insane with 6 kids Anyway .. under the bathroom sink, I just give up. I take everything out about once a month. Throw away things that have expired, or I haven't used in decades .. put it all back in .. in a nice, organized way .. just to have it all thrown back down there and yet again to be nothing but a dark pit. I think it's just one of those things.

I agree, not all moms can stay home. All I know is from the experiences I had when my kids went to school. I remember one year, there was a pink eye outbreak in my daughters kindergarten class. ALL of those poor kids were in school with pink, goopy eyes. Even their teacher caught it. It was awful. Then a few weeks later, it was strep throat. Before I knew it .. she had missed her " max " days. I ended up taking her out and homeschooling her, it got so frustrating. Her teachers, I really felt sorry for. They had little kids at home, and had to take that stuff home with them. I just don't like t

I have no doubt that the flu is a vicious thing. But do you realize that this vaccine is new and hasn't been really tested ? In the 70's, more people died from the vaccine than from the swine flu. I don't think everyone is saying to take it lightly. What they are saying is to get your regular flu shot ... and take precautions. Don't let the government use fear tactics to persuade you to become their guinea pig. I'm glad your daughter survived, yes the flu is very scary indeed. However, so are vaccinations that haven't been tested.

I went to private school growing up. If I could afford to put my little herd in private school, I would. However, homeschooling is nice as well. Parents should always be the decision makers without threat from those who think they can raise your child better than you.

Full Story We’re constantly being told to put on sunscreen to protect out skin – but could it doing damage to our brains in the meantime? Two professors from the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland have been given a substantial grant by the European Union to explore a possible link between sunscreen and Alzheimer’s disease, the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph reported. The professors are leading a "groundbreaking 3-year research project into whether human engineered nanoparticles, such as those found in sunscreen, can induce neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkin

Because if they miss too many days the school system threatens the parents Exactly! I would rather take my chances personally.

Yup, because the schools pressure parents to send their kids to school sick
