I would call ther marina at Red Top State Park. We rented a pontoon boat there, so I'm thinking that landing would be terrific. I loved the part of the lake that you get out to from there.

I would have to agree with that idea!

You have to be careful how you do it. The other day, a girl pulled over on Dabbs Bridge Rd. and left her door wide open. She had stopped to save a turtle. When she saw me coming, she stayed by the open door of her car. I didn't know why she was there, so as I went around her, I ran right over the turtle she was trying to save. I could hear her hollering at me as I went past. I would have swerved to avoid the turtle, but since she parked the way she did, my attention was on not hitting her and her car. I didn't even see the turtle, but I would have had nowhere else to go, anyway. She s -
Renting is throwing away money - tons of it every month - that you will never see again. Home ownership will save more in the long run, interest considered.

Do you mean they can't build another airport ANYWHERE in this county? How far exactly, do the air rights go, mileage-wise? Wonder where the other 10,000 acres are that Atlanta owns in the county.

I would actually put the search for funding opportunities first, unless addit. funding is not needed. Banks are way more hesitant to assist a start-up, right now.

Knock on wood, in all the years we've done Collie rescue, we haven't really needed flea shampoo. We just use the once a month Revolution that keeps flea eggs from hatching, while also protecting the dogs from heartworms. It's expensive for so many dogs, but I've never seen a flea. We used to have a toy poodle that foamed at the mouth from flea spray we used on the yard. It's a scary thing!

This thread is just going to put p.com readers in a tiz. I heard it's not going to pass and the plan is at least a year away from being passed and approved. So, let's not get too panicked by it. This is far from decided on.

Ha! Sounds like Ghostbusters! -
What did you think was disappointing about their planetarium?

I make lighted glass cubes. I frost them, fill them with LED lights, and decorate the cubes with glass stones.

Certainly am glad to hear that!

Copper Mountain, CO. Such a gorgeous place, and so easy to get around.

I absolutely agree. I don't even want a fancy funeral. Put me in the ground in a plain ole casket. It doesn't matter how you're buried. I don't like the viewing thing. It doesn't seem natural - the embalming, etc. It feels very strange to be in the room with an open casket and so many people sitting around it, talking. I've never wanted to be the center of attention - guess I wouldn't then, even.

From what I've seen, realtors can't just work weekends. There may be more to this than meets the eye.

Yeah, which makes me wonder how so many of my friends have dropped their land line, in favor of their cell phones. I can't pick up a good signal with my cell phones anywhere around my house - except maybe AROUND my house - as in the OUTSIDE! I sort of doubt the type of cell phone chosen makes less difference in that aspect, as the service or location of nearby towers would.

Can someone please kick her in the womb?

Me, too. Guess I wasted my own time following all of these messages down to here. -
Yep, that's good Foxworthy material.

I looked up the symbol of skull and crossbones and this is what it says: It's an ancient symbol. In medieval times, it was used to mark tombstones. It's also found at entrances to cemeteries in Spain, a fact that links its association with death. I also think of it as looking like a warning symbol for something poisonous. If kids think they have to wear it to look tougher, that's not a positive thing, either.

I like when the family wears white shirts (for boys - long-sleeve polo) and dark denim pants. For the girls - white dresses. The blue denim brings a deeper tone to the ocean and sky color, while the white looks refreshing and clean.

That's because the last billing cycle was during the hot temps. outside. The more square footage you have, the higher the bill will be.

I agree - The parents of the kids I have over to spend the night are my friends. They wouldn't accuse me of such craziness. I think they appreciate that I give them a shower - even a bath at times. So what - the kids like to play in the bath together. If we make such a big deal of things like that, the kids will think there is a problem - that would just start something.

We seem to have a ton of those this year - I think they're stink bugs, too.
