Wasn't the egg really hard after 12 minutes of a "slow boil"? I have my eggs sit in water for 12-14 minutes after a boil has been reached and shut down, but to "slow boil" for that long I'd be afraid of the egg being rock hard. I was thinking I'd eat it by myself after that .... no way would I serve it to anyone else!

^ one of the reasons I mostly shop clearance racks for clothes, with the occasional sale item for home bedding/houseware (but I watch a lot of prices first). I am not a fasionesta, I do classic looks with a twist and only get things to replace something else which lets me stay in classic lines and clearance can usually fulfill that need when I have to (I hate shopping so it must be a "replacement"). You would be surprised what you can find
