kebobs! We do them all kinds of ways, your variety minus squash is one of our favorites (maybe add mushrooms or cherry tomatoes). Yours look great and I'm sure were delicious! What do you do for sides? We'll do wild rice or pasta salad or baked potato or grilled corn (mostly).

wow ... I didn't know the house was razed! I remember you posting about the problems you had with the house "in essence falling down around you" & I remember the decorations for halloween. Sounds like you missed a "bullet" with the house being gone, you & family moved, before that tornado too! oh my ..... Hopefully someone will do justice to the property.

Don't know anything about meals-on-wheels, but will stand by for info as I know a few people who might be able to use this in the future. For the OPS mom, is she a good cook? Maybe have her make lots of meals on Sunday and freeze for the week -- use an excuse to send a casserole to your family (or friends) and she gets the left overs ? Maybe she feels no one appreciates her cooking because no one is around anymore, give her and excuse to kick-it-up-a-notch food wise and send food to others (you could supplement her food budget a smidge to help). Grilled snapper with old bay, lemon & garlic Noodles with parmessan and herbs Fresh from our garden salad of Bibb, Romaine, Spinach, Green Onions, Radishes with some store bough mushrooms sliced. Probably a simple vinagrette as a dressing.
