  1. What a wonderful restoration - I'm sure the family was extremely pleased with your work!! If I ever find that I need a photo restored, I know exactly who I'm contacting.
  2. I have never gotten the flu shot and have rarely gotten the flu :::knockingonwood::: .... but I know many people who are considered "high risk" and they get the shot every year, I know they are fully aware of the risks but DANG this is pretty scary.
  3. I have one like that too -- until she tried Temptations (but only the dairy & beef flavors, but she is trying to venture out to other flavors (but no others brands or kinds ))! She won't even eat cooked chicken or tuna or any fish, just Temptations
  4. ... great offer to people! I not having flood control, worth every penny I spend!
  5. If none of these (great groups/organizations) work out, think about the Thrift Store or PALS as I'm sure they would take whatever you have as well. Hope your move goes smoothly!
  6. One of my current ones loves cheese -- any kind of cheese whether it be real cheese or cheese on chips or bread or ??? In the past I had a cat who litterally would eat anything, but his big "crazy" item was french fries!
  7. Thoughts are with you LPPT & Dad! JLLSU -- so sorry to hear of your loss.
  8. I was going to post about this is just TMI but banana pudding does sound good .....
  9. Thanks for the info -- I'll start collecting and dropping off!
  10. We're not sure ... probably something easy as we are both not really hungry.
  11. A great idea -- citrus is another smell that cats don't like (lemon, orange) VERY GOOD POINT!! I've also gotten a little bit of chicken wire and folded it around the top of a plant/pot. Cats don't like that feel and will not dig in the dirt.
  12. DANG -- why does all the good stuff happen when I am at work or just not here!
  13. Not at all -- but it is filling & comforting (if that makes sense) More of a soup along the lines of a minestone, lots of broth if you want or just a bunch of fillings - depends on if you add more "items" to it. Very yummy ..... Here is the recipe I got from TabbyCat and my changes: Crockpot Taco Soup --1 can black beans --1 can white beans (I used Great Northern/Navy) --2 cans of corn --1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes --1 14.5 oz can tomatoes and chilies (I use Rotel, original) --1 packet taco seasoning --1 packet ranch dressing mix --1 lb browned ground
  14. Taco soup with the fixin' and chips & cheese dip
  15. I've heard the "don't do it" phrase before with that group .... Why don't you look into being a sub for multiple counties (if possible)? That will keep you teaching and will keep you in front of those who might do the hiring when a vacancy arises.
  16. Great news! Will continue good positive thoughts for you all
