Just be cautious .... a lot of the 10/$10 were already $1 each and don't apply towards anything but corporate profit. If you want it, buy how many you want not just $10 of them if that is not necessary --- which some people are doing because they are perceiving a "savings" which doesn't exist.

You should do what one of my friends did ..... Day 1: "Go clean your room" .... "ok" but didn't. Day 2: "Go clean your room or I will" .... "ok" but didn't. Day 3: She cleaned and there was nothing left but mattress & sheets. Day 4: "Where is my stuff?" "What stuff, I cleaned and removed all items which really (and technically) belong to me cuz I paid for them". Day 5: "MOM, PLEASE GIVE ME THE STUFF BACK" Day 6: Stuff back and a place was found for each item. Day 7 through many many more .... room is "clean"

along the same lines here (somewhat) .... last night had a bunch of items to clean out from the frig, tonight the same We have lots of veggies from the garden plus left over boiled shrimp = loaded shrimp lettuce fully loaded salad

I understand your position. Quietly slipping back into oblivion would be good, but these jurors are going to be hounded especially once their names get out there. High profile cases = for media analysis. Why not get some $$ to pay for family security or to pay bills not paid while serving? They get crap for being on the jury and unless you have an employer who makes up the difference, you are screwed for pay. Plus being 1st, you might get a bit more for your "perspective of events". 99.99% of cases you get to go home and live your life - .01% of cases you are "history"

why do you find it disgusting? he doesn't have to reveal his identity at all. if he does, he is going to have to pay for security as there are out there who have threatened the lives of the jury members why don't you feel it is disgusting to threaten individuals who served on the jury?
