Well, isn't the current contention 'one mile instead of ten?' I assume the means they still have to run the 'trunk lines.' Personally, I'd like to know specifically what said 'trunk lines' entail. Leaves are green.

The property line dispute is indeed a civil one. When the Sheriff's a office responds and is told by you and the neighbor that you both own a particular piece of property--especially in the vicinity of where they border--they are telling the truth when they say they can do nothing. You will have to file suit in the courts and petition for a judgment based on surveys and other necessary records. Beyond that, I would get video evidence of the BS they are pulling and then go see the magistrate judge to seek criminal redress. -
Nice. I have seen him live before as well. Enjoy!

Pubby, Here is your quote from the other thread: First, I am not expert or authority on E911 systems. However, do have a working knowledge of PSTN (public switched telephone networks) and the media, equipment, protocols used to make phone and computer networks operate. In a nutshell, when you dial 911, the call is carried across the PSTN to a CO (central office) that contains a class 4 switch. The class 4 switching equipment queries the originating phone number against the SRDB (Selective Routing Database) and MSAG (Master Street Address Guide) to determine the ESN (emerg

I have contended nothing other than you made cheap sausage of what was actually said. Anyone who watches the video will see Tony Crowe did not make the 50k figure up, he wasn't guessing, and he wasn't prodded to change the figure. He got the figure from the would-be contractor. His use of the 20k figure was simply for the purpose of justifying his position that it doesn't make a damn--you still have to pay for ten miles worth. It's that simple.

Fair enough, however, you are trained reporter with decades of experience. This thread started as a result of a story you posted about a public meeting that is publicly available for replay at leisure. Yet, you choose to denote your gross inaccuracies (and in my opinion blatant misrepresentation of facts) as being acceptable because they fall "well within the range of eyewitness testimony." I could accept that if you were had been describing a fender bender you witnessed on the way to the meeting. Subsequent comments about a story you posted as a publisher in reference to a meeting you

Pubby, Can we split this thread? I ask because I tend to agree with you on the technical part of this, and quite honestly I think it deserves scrutiny. The split I am requesting is a new thread for the discussion of the so-called 'trunk lines.'

pubby, There is nothing remotely accurate about your version. Nothing. How can you say that with a clear conscience? How? I am not baiting or flaming you; I seriously want to know--man to man--how can you say that? It simply isn't true. Your version is not representative of what happened during the commission meeting. My version paraphrases what happened to the best of my ability. I even went back and watched the video again to make sure. Here is what you said: Tony was never 'prodded.' Using that language tends to portray the dialogue as if Tony was just pu

You are intentionally spinning, or you need to pay better attention during the meetings. My recollection is going off of watching the meeting on youtube two nights ago. You were there. Tony Crowe at NO point during that meeting stated he 'didn't exactly know.' He very specifically said he was told during his meeting prior the commission meeting that HE WAS TOLD by the contractor it would cost $50,000/mile. He didn't pull the figure out of his hat. The $20,000/mile figure he proposed for the sake of argument (admitting that 50k/mile seemed on the 'high side') His point being that e
