Are Anti Airport Commissioners withdrawing Support for Airshow?
audioslave replied to Rose Luxemburg's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Unless something has changed, the churches pay for the deputies to do so. I may certainly be mistaken, wouldn't be the first time. With that said, I don't oppose the Air Show (I am a big fan of them). -
It is akin to saying selling booze on Sunday will lead to mass drunkenness on Sundays. Folks who are gonna drink and get drunk on Sunday will get drunk regardless of Publix having roped off the beer cooler on Sundays or not. I think Georgians will shoot no more or less than they do now; they will just be buying them in Georgia.

It has to pass both houses of the General Assembly (Senate and House of Representatives). It only has to be sent back to the originating body if it is changed (amended, confrenced, substituted, etc.). The bill can become law as soon as the governor puts his signature on it--it all depends on the language of the bill.

You mention you have the 'free' edition. AVG still has a free edition--you may just need to download the latest binary for the '2015' version. Either way, you can just stick with AVG if you like it.

Are Anti Airport Commissioners withdrawing Support for Airshow?

They also had the Thunderbirds there to perform. I just checked the Rome even site and they will be headlining an F-22 demo this year--plus performance by The Charlie Daniels Band--and a BBQ cook-off. -
I buy from Lowe's. I have just personally had good experience at the Dallas Hwy location (YMMV) and have been a repeat customer when appliance time rolls around. They are delivering it, however, I will install it (I'm not paying someone $145 to attach three wires).

Nice. I am hoping we have the same experience. I 'could' have gotten a Kitchen Aid, however, it was hard for me to justify the jump in price. I think we made the right choice.

My Bosch is being delivered Saturday. I will gladly give you some feedback after we use it.

Wrong on so many levels, however, holy sheeze that was funny!

Anyone ever jog/walk along Old Cartersville Rd.?

I am just curious as to why you had it in airplane mode. Absolutely none of my business, however, I just want to know. -
Thank you!!!

I gave serious thought to coming by to check on you, however, given we have never met in person I didn't want this to be the first time. I like my teeth where they are and felt picking them up off the parking lot due to mistaken identity would make for a sucky weekend.

Me and Mr. Mr. Jones (or...who am I?)

This is this the strangest sheeze I have seen here in quite some time. wtf? -
You have spun this in the most circular fashion I think I have ever witnessed you do. First, you call it a press conference. Second, you say you called it a 'press conference' for the lack of a better word. Then, in the midst of a thread you resort to referring to it as a 'meeting.' Onward, in further posts, you continue the 'meeting' label. You know, repeat it long enough....yada yada. Now, you assert somehow my reasoning/definition of 'press conference' lends creed to it not actually being a 'press conference.' Further, you now delineate yourself as a reporter AND publishe

What screen name did Mike Jones inquire about? This was a press conference, right? Anything said or discussed at a press conference should be fair game. Please tell us.

It has been my opinion from the get-go that if you want to legitimize a message forum as a news source you must separate 'news' from 'commentary.' Here is the scenario I have proposed from the beginning that I feel is the reason you don't see local government utilizing a privately owned message board for PSA's and the like: Government department 'A' decides to post miscellaneous 'stuff' that is determined to be interesting, important, or otherwise germane to the local citizens. They are given moderation privileges to basically create a 'thread' and make a post. They can then close it

I can fly any airline I want when booking company travel--including Delta and other premium carriers. I personally opt for Southwest. No frills and you can sit where you want. Can't beat it. Something just doesn't 'feel' right about Frontier.

So now it was a 'meeting?' What happened to the 'press conference?' See where I have been going with this from the get-go? (I know you do, and I also know you are intentionally avoiding making any remarks to the fact.) Perhaps now you can take an objective step back and see how it really smells like rotten ass. I am not asserting you colluded, however, when you can't seem to identify if it was a meeting or a press conference, not to mention simply identify who asked you not to record, it is one of those situations where if it looks like fish, smells like fish, then perhaps it very

Pubby, How is the circulation in your legs? With all the bullcheeze you are wading through I can only imagine your pant legs are rolled up as high as they will go without cutting blood flow completely.

How was the breakfast buffet? I could hit a breakfast buffet like a blind dog in a meat house right about now.

I don't necessariky agree or disagree. However, I will say this: An idiot is and idiot. An idiot who attains a post secondary degree is, well, an idiot with a degree. Educated? Perhaps. Still an idiot. Disclaimer: I have a four year degree. Jury is still out on my idiot status. Depends on who you ask.
-
Pubby, you are full of sheeze. I don't give a rats ass about what Candi said. Hell, I don't really care what Mike Jones said. I simply asked who, in your own words, 'denied' you the opportunity to record at a 'press conference.' You didn't answer the question and it is apparent you aren't going to. You clearly stated you asked to record and was 'denied.' You then stated you made an additional request to record an interview afterward and was denied again...then you go on to say you brought the camera for a short interview piece after the 'press conference.' If no recording was p

Let us call a spade a spade, shall we? A press conference is a press conference..is a press conference....is a press conference. Doesn't sound like much of a press conference. You were 'denied' making a recording? Who denied you the opportunity to record a 'press conference' by a county official on what I can only assume was county gov't property? Please tell us.
