It sounds like you did go into Mommy Mode. I hope your son gets back to normal soon and has no issues later on with the career he has chosen. Ever since I have been married we have had a real tree. Hubby likes the way they smell.

Hubby is smoking a turkey. My step son is smoking a Boston Butt. We will have all the fixings to go with it. The step sons will be here with my grandkids. Mama, sister and her kids will be here. It's gonna be a fun day. I have been having tummy trouble for months, so I'm not sure what I can eat, but it's gonna be a great day of food, football and fellowship!

We (my husband and I) have taken a 3 week and a 5 week trip towing our 22 foot camper. No, I wouldn't go without him. I'm glad you found a friend to go with you because the trip sounds awesome. We have found that campgrounds are full of great people. It's not to say that there are not some crazy people out there, but for the most part it's safe. Just be sure to keep the buddy system and all will be well. Besides staying the state and national parks, check out some of the KOA's. They are usually great. I know you said that you have pasta alot, but here is my suggestion. Rice a Roni and Pasta Roni always goes on sale. If you got to their website, there is a dinner (meal) wizard. You can put in what veggies, dairy product and meat you have and it will come up with simple recipies. Best of luck to you.
