Hubby and I decided to go to Kroger to pick up a few items. The parking lot was so crowded. We looked at each other and said what a night to decide to pick up a few things. We forgot about the prediction of possible snow. It wasn't so bad once we got inside.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking our fire station will be the one on 61. We live on that end. I'm guessing that one is still open!??

Not me! I don't have a BSA sticker and I never pass anyone on DBR And I know it's not my hubby. He goes 34 MPH....it's very annoying.

I call it the Dabbs Bridge Speedway! I'm glad they are out there. Speed limit should be a little more than 35. I usually go 45. I hope I don't get caught. 45 MPH is slow for most folks on the DBR Speedway.

The candy throwing (I really mean handing out) is always the best part of the parade. Well, the best part to watch. The parade is a competitive sport.....watching the big kids knock the little ones down for the candy. J/K

RIP Tootsie. I believe dogs go to heaven...why else would there name the GOD spelled backwards. My little Scout girl died a couple of years ago. I still miss her, but I know that she was treated far better than some people treat their kids. Yes she was spoiled. Sounds like Tootsie was a spoiled member of your family too. I'm sorry for you loss.

Mr. Dis, I had been with CMAR for over 30 years. When they changed names I took my money out and went with the bank my hubby uses. The folks at CMAR suggested instead of closing the account to at least leave $5.00 in the savings account, so that I could use them later if I needed it. I forgot and they didn't remind me of an insurance policy I had with them. I just assumed that it would be canceled since I wanted to close my account. My bad. They didn't and when the insurance payment hit my savings account, it bounced. I need to go up there and get it straightened out. I guess I have t

I have been once and the food was great. They are building a new one in Marietta on Canton Highway. Well, actually it will be in the old Ryan's building.

LR, my Daddy died a month before your Daddy did. He wasn't much into holidays, but I miss his presence. I am going thru old pictures and found the 2002 pictures where my Daddy was in St. Joseph Hospital having heart valve surgery. He slipped and fell the night before and both his eyes were black. After the surgery he was in the hospital for over a month. The pictures show Mama and us at the hospital for Thanksgiving. I'm really glad my Daddy isn't in any pain and he is living life large in heaven now. That makes me feel better about the holidays.

Race Girl, I think if it's in the sale paper the item should be in the store. Yes, it could have been sold out at the regular price during the week before as Mark David said, but if that's the case there should have been signs on the door listing that they sold out prior to the sale. JMHO You should write to someone high up with the company. Maybe you can get free ones for your Mama.
