Never loan money to them again! (You already know that) You have to know that they are not true friends. If you gave the money as a loan, they should pay it back now since they can afford the vacation. If you gave them the money, well as bad as I hate to say this they can go on that vacation and brag. Clark Howard said if you loan family money, you might as well assume that you gave it to them. If it makes you feel better, we have loaned money that we know we will never see again.....to family. You are the most giving person I know. I hope this doesn't hinder your generosity! :w

It scared my Daddy so bad that the next time he had to have surgery, he told them if that thing is in me...make sure I'm knocked out. Talk calmly to him and tell him to relax. That's all we could do. Also see if they can put him back to sleep until it comes out. Talk to him while he is sleeping. My Daddy had awful dreams while under sedation. Praying for your Dad. My Daddy had bipass surgery (5) years and years ago. The vent tube was his biggest problem. I can understand how scary it had to be for my Daddy. Praying for healing for your Dad.

Actually we were watching Dinners, Drive Ins and Dives last night and some one was making Chicken and Dumplings. I found the recipe from the show and we made them. I roasted the chicken, then we put the bones, juices from the chicken and skin in water to make broth. My hubby made the dumplings and I made the roux to go in it. It was great. I think the recipe was wrong on the butter. We used 4 sticks. It was good.....for chicken.

I think it's a great idea. I don't have kids so I don't know how to get this started, but I'm sure some here will have ideas for you. I just wanted you to know that you do great things! (Also your rocking back and forth on the video got me a little sea sick :rofl: )

My husband and I are attempting to make our first ever Chicken and Dumplings. I didn't know he even liked them. I've never seen him eat them and we have had to come up with a bunch of chicken recipies because I can't eat beef and pork right now. I hate chicken...LOL

Bootcamp as in exercise bootcamp? You're gonna get soggy if it's outside. I thought I was actually in a war at 4:12 this morning.

I love the show. I can't believe they were throwing away all the baked goods. I'm glad he got that changed. Also, I was hoping that the lady got a new kidney, but I guess CEO's can't do everything.

The two fire trucks were over there about 45 minutes...They just left. I hope all it okay over there. On a funny note, it woke me up it was so loud. I hollered something that I had to pray for forgiveness about. LOL What a way to start the day. Oh and we don't have cable either.
