What time is a good time to get to the square?
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to Ashley~marie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Are you going for the parade or the fireworks? I don't even know what day it's gonna be, but if you are going for the fireworks a great place to see them is on top of the parking deck that the County has. I used to work there and they would make all the employees with county cars park them at the PD parking lot. The entire parking lot was open to the public. If you can park on top you can tailgate (sort of) and watch the fireworks. -

Mr. Cole, you will never believe what I got to see yesterday. It was the 1st original copy of the Georgia's copy of the Declaration of Independence. Let me see if I can explain what I saw. You may know what I'm talking about. A friend of my husband's mother is the Georgia State Regent for the DAR - Daughters of the American Revolution. Her name is Barbara Blakely Chastain. She was given this copy and is heading to Washington DC to display it. She is flying, but her son is driving it up there. I was like okay it's a copy....whatever...but then I got the explanation. I was never good a -
Not me, I like the fireworks from a distance. We just got home from a trip to Texas and my nephew had to stop and get some. I told him he was crazy throwing money away like that. When did I become my grandmother? LOL

Any recommendations for wireless printer
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to Squareroots's topic in Business NEWS
I know I'm not gonna have much help for you, but I just want to share an issue I had so you can avoid it. Your laptop is 10 years old, but what Windows program is it running? Mine had Vista on it and the printer wouldn't even work when it was attached to it. Several downloads of drivers didn't work. So part of the thing you have to look at is what windows program your laptop is on and what windows program your printer will work with. All that to say is that your printer and laptop have to like each other. LOL There are lots of computer people here to give you great advice. Being a h -
We only used our dishwasher on Christmas when our family got together so when we remodeled our kitchen we left it out. I remembered last year while making jelly and canning pickles that I needed it. We have an ice maker. I used to iron my work clothes back when I worked.

I am one of them I guess. I did this one time. It only took me 3 times though. LOL My hubby's car has the dang gas thingy on the wrong side. My first time to pull up to the pumps was when I figured out it was on the other side. The second try I wheeled around to the other side of the pump and still was on the wrong side. I got it right on the 3rd try. Yeah I guess I'm one of them. -

The first pcommer I met was Lady Raider....and her hubby! He's not a pcommer, but I met him at the same time! -
I have him as a "friend" on FB. He said that he is going to "Fix The Bump" on Harmony Grove Church Road. So I guess he is gonna be great for folks that live around that area. Other than that, I don't know much about him.

So sad and scary. We have camped our way to Seattle Washington on year and to Maine another. We have had hard rains while camping, but we love to hear the rain on the camper top. I never ever thought of floods occurring. I don't like it when the wind gets up. Some campgrounds we have been in have no cable and we would be without news for days. So we have gone days not knowing what the weather was going to be. We just assume we are not going to have problems and that the camp host would tell us if there is going to be bad weather. It sounds like these people had no warning. WOW just WOW.

I didn't go to college, but in high school they taught me that 32 is half way to 64. I'm just saying. Just kidding with ya. I say go for it, but if the pay is lower, you will have to lower some of your standards for living unless you find a rich retired man. LOL
