  1. Dearly Devoted Dexter - Jeff Lindsay
  2. For some reason I think Paulding will be among those that will have a majority vote of no.
  3. I've threatened to walk around the block with my biggest handgun in a shoulder holster. And we've (jokingly) talked about what you describe, but I'm double paranoid. Wouldn't that just tell them, "Hey they have guns to steal" (only if they aren't in the safe).
  4. I agree. Just thought it was interesting.
  5. http://www.greenwichtime.com/news/article/Deal-I-d-vote-against-Sunday-sales-1335349.php Deal would vote against it in his community. Hmmm.
  6. Col Mustard in the study with a lead pipe, biotch!
  7. I read in one of the articles that he said something like "she doesn't leave at night." Hmmm. Red flag. I kind of hoped she'd leave if in an abusive relationship, but someone mentioned the kids...
  8. Another thing I've noticed is "on today" or "on tomorrow." Maybe they were about to say on Thursday? And yet another, the use of it's instead of there's* - "It's a lot of problems" or "it's a lot of people" instead of there's in both instances. WTF? *Which would also be wrong if using problems, which is not singular.
  9. Yikes. I remember feeling terrible on Atkins. And working out was even more of a chore because I didn't feel like I had the fuel to do it. Right now, I'm trying to up my protein to get the 1g/lb I need for the amount of weight training I do. Based on my latest measurements, and the straw-like appearance of my hair lately, I wasn't getting enough. (And it was not because of my vegetarian diet, but because of very restricted calories.)
  10. It's amazing how much that weight holds you back. I have so much more endurance now. And I'm keeping the strawberry and broccoli industries in business. (She's chopping brocco-LIE....)
  11. Ever see the Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia?
  12. Hubby and tummy. Sounds like words a child would say. (Children (not the word) also make me cringe.)

    WOW!

Yep. This is exactly why I don't use more coupons. I rarely see them for the stuff I buy, and the ones I see most are for CRAP.
  14. I totally agree with getting an appointment first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch. I even do that at the vet. And it pisses me off to have to wait, especially when it's an hour or more. Sometimes I make exceptions. Like with my dermatologist, who I've seen since I was about 12. I don't see him much any more, but even my impatient Dad would grumble, but wait because he was such a good doctor. He would spend too much time with the patients, and in the afternoon would run late. The problem was with the scheduling, not the doctor.

  16. Very true. I meant the kids I see coming into stores, restaurants, etc., and I think whoa. Then I see their parents and family behind them and think, oh. Never had a chance.
  17. You could use this valuable time to interview pool boys.
  18. I work WAY downtown, and live in Powder Springs. I go in at 6:30 and try to leave no later than 3:30. With these hours, it's not so bad (except when I get caught in traffic from a wreck, like that bus/bridge thing a few years ago). I usually go 75, but sometimes take 20 home. I would say it takes about 40 minutes in the morning, and up to an hour in the afternoon (usually less).
  19. It's sad, because they learn it from their parents. Seems they never had a chance. Being that heavy that young is so bad for their future health.
  20. When I see those, I get a feeling similar to that when I see one of those "I love my wife" decals. Creepy.
  21. Probably 20-25, though I only wear about 4-5 pairs. I need to purge again.
  22. Truvia says it is "stevia-based," but I've found they all have a slightly different formulation and flavor. Exactly. By the time I added enough sugar and creamer or milk so that I could tolerate the taste of the coffee, I wasn't drinking coffee any more.
  23. Try one of these: http://www.steviaextractintheraw.com/ http://www.sweetleaf.com/
