  1. It takes several days to get rid of them all, the pupae are resistant to insecticides. Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum............replace the bags after each vacuuming, seal in plastic bag before throwing away. If bagless put debri in a plastic bag and seal before throwing away. Keep spraying every couple of days and vacuum daily. Did I mention you need to vacuum??
  2. I'm so glad to see that you and your son are excited about this!! Truett Cathey's business has always been very supportive of scouting. I'm going to stop by and get me some chicken, come join us.
  3. My dad does wood carvings. I'll bet he could carve anything you'd like especially if he had a pic of your pup.
  4. Thank you, yes every penny collected at the gate goes to a non-profit organization in Paulding County, as does all the food and exhibitor fees. Thank you for coming out and helping the community.
  5. You behave!! I'm tired. I think you were one of the first people I saw!! It really was good to see you.
  6. I was amazed how many of you I actually knew and got to see today, Pubby and LPPT looked pretty busy. They had help when I was there - 1novella, Ihave2dogs and JohnnyJ were looking pretty comfy. Ran in to Solo, KRM and Rocky's mom on one of my runs from Hospitality back to the stage. Saw Smiles, UGA1 & UnionMom, if I left you out sorry, I'm pretty tired right now!! Was a great day!!
  7. Prayers for her and her girls. Thanks for the info on the BOA fund. Prayers for you as well.
  8. Thanks UnionMom. She's right the show was sold out with only a few available squeezed in spaces for the walk ins we got. I think several exhibitors were afraid to chance the weather, it was pretty yucky, rainy and drizzling Friday afternoon for set up. I think they opted to stay home rather than risk their hard work getting damaged. They were predicting 20-40% chance of rain today and tomorrow but it turned out beautiful. Come out and see who took the chance, there is lots of great stuff!! The line for the Kettle Corn was about 30 deep the last time I walked past them. That stuff
  9. I'll be there all day, starting with Pastor Matt and our worship service at 8:00. Their Praise Band is going to be there and all morning we'll have gospel music. Come visit me at the stage.
  10. Durn, I was all ready to head over there after Paulding Meadows tomorrow for the party!!! WTH, how many have you rescheduled now??
  11. Since this was an additional exemption and the state/counties running are on empty, what else would you have suggested they do?? I would have loved to keep the exemption but the $ has to come from somewhere. With all the forclosures and devalued property, people aren't paying those property taxes anymore. A little hard to swallow, but better than an out right tax increase.
  12. Not to mention snakes (they love kudzu) and rats. It is a health issue, not just an eyesore.
  13. I believe this was an addition to the Homestead Exemption, granted by the state. The Homestead Exemption still stands, just not the tax relief grant.
  14. So very sad, prayers for all involved.

    Flags

I don't know but I wouldn't think so. I think displaying them is very appropriate.
  16. Thank you to those that put their lives on the line for us every day. I think the flags are a great reminder of those people. I believe the VFW has taken over the coordination of getting those flags put out.
  17. So sad, prayers being said.
  18. Thanks for sharing Juleebella
  19. Do you think if I ran through the street with the big foam "two fingers raised" sign (you know the Cub Scout one), it might slow them down?? What if I planted it in one of your yards, do ya think they'd get the message???
  20. Not those eggs!! You're crazy!! That is a wonderful thing for you to do, I have a niece that would give her right arm to have a child. God Bless You!!
  21. I just left there about 1:00. Pubby was there LPPT was at the PBA luncheon.
  22. Ewwwww, good job on the tat though. Looks very real, just have a problem with what it's gonna look like in 25 years.
