Direct TV Pulls "That's The Truth, Truth" Ad

Apparently people are saying it's racist because the black family/entourage has a white butler who gets punched by the black boy and nobody in the family/entourage cares about the violent act. -
In the past, I have never declined to let a police officer search my vehicle or give me a breathalyzer because I believed that there wasn't any risk. However, I have since changed my opinion and will always use my 4th and 5th Amendment right to decline a search and not answer questioning by police. Recommendations for local FFL Dealer
November Rain replied to November Rain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
FFL search on AuctionArms.com lists places that charge between $20-$35. Stoddard's is listed at $25. I was thinking about doing the transfer there since I'll be going there to use the range and they have a store where I may find accessories. I looked into range memberships and see that it includes three free FFL transfers. -
Recommendations for local FFL Dealer
November Rain replied to November Rain's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Heh, that's the point of this thread! I was hoping to save myself from calling every FFL dealer around. Indeed! Here's the map of FFL dealers around Hiram-Dallas and Douglasville http://grabagun.com/ffl-locator.html -
An online search reveals dozens of FFL Dealers in the area. Which place(s) would you recommend for price and service for having a gun shipped to?

I don't know how it was at the post office where you live, but the mail volume was low at my post office on Tuesday and Wednesday. Many houses on my route didn't get any mail. Today, everybody on my route received at least an Ikea catalog. I think a camera crew would deliver the PCH check right before the Super Bowl

I went to the courthouse just before lunch on Monday to complete the paperwork and fingerprints. I was pleasantly surprised that my GWCL arrived in the mail today, just two days later.

I was having the same issues for the last few weeks. A tech came out on Friday and diagnosed that the problem was due to a very low signal strength. He said something about Comcast reducing the signal power to the minimum necessary, which resulted in hit or miss connectivity to my router. The tech had to replace a splitter in the cable box outside and do a little rewiring inside my house to try to reduce any interference. Oh, and Comcast wants me to pay $50 because a tech had to come out to fix their poor service

Brrr! After having both A/C units for my house serviced today, cold air is really blowing out! It feels like a fan is on in the room. $99 total for two units is a good deal. The condenser coils were pretty dirty! Thanks Pinnacle for the tuneup!

I didn't find the model handgun that I was looking for and nobody said anything about my P'com T-shirt. However, I did join GeorgiaCarry.Org while I was there.

What is the process for purchasing a pistol at a gun show? Do they do an instant background check? I assume that would involve additional fees?

Or what the hours are? I'm thinking about heading over there but don't want to arrive when they're closed

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR LANDLINE PHONE BILL LATELY?
November Rain replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Landline customers face rip-off charges. Just sayin' Seriously, for the one function of making and receiving phone calls at one location, landline service is overcharged. I disconnected maybe five years ago. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing the rip-off alert. If you really need a landline phone and have high-speed Internet, look into Ooma or magicJack -
Dang Subby, apparently you missed the double entendre of this whole thread! Would it be rude to point and laugh?
-
My equipment was taking longer and longer to get started. Not that I was mishandling it, I just needed somebody to service it. After a deep-cleaning and lube job, it started right up after the first yank! Now I can engage whenever I want instead of fighting with it. Thanks Subby!

how to file a complaint against the postal service
November Rain replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I commonly see mailings that used an old database and a good portion of the mailing is undeliverable because the addressee moved years ago. Some mailings, many of the addressees are completely unknown as in your case. This is from the USPS Handbook PO-603 "Rural Carrier Duties and Responsibilities" 331.21 Attract Customer to Box If a parcel is too large for the box, make a reasonable effort to attract the customer to the box to receive the parcel. Do this by sounding the horn or by hailing the customer. If unsuccessful, you must deliver parcels to any residence or business tha -

how to file a complaint against the postal service
November Rain replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That doesn't make sense. If you refuse "junk" mail, it just gets tossed in an Undeliverable Bulk Business Mail tub and ultimately turns into recycled paper. Only First Class Mail is returned to sender. There's no reason for a manager to reprimand the carrier for delivering your mail. That would happen only if the carrier didn't deliver your mail. -
how to file a complaint against the postal service
November Rain replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
There is a lady on my route who works from home and claims that she is always there. Half of the time that I go to her front door, ring the doorbell and knock, nobody answers. Then she files a complaint saying that I just put the notice in the mailbox and didn't go to the door. My supervisor tells me that I should leave the notice at the front door, but I don't really like that idea. If you have a complaint, the best thing to do is to talk to the carrier and make sure he or she is aware of the problem. Supervisors have plenty of work to do and don't always relay complaints to the carrier. -
Thanks, I guess the cookies must have been deleted or expired on this computer. I just went through and turned on the forums that I'm interested in (and allowed access to.) Would be nice if this could be done with a checkbox. For example, maybe have a page in the board settings where I could check or uncheck a box next to each forum to indicate whether or not I want them in my Recent Topics. However, I'm guessing that is out of your control and would be a function that IP.Board would have to write into the forum software.
