We just use a flea comb. It's the best for keeping control of any flea problems. With 2 cats and 1 dog (all go in and outside) who love to be groomed, everyone's happy! If you haven't seen the comb, it's metal and has tight teeth. While combing an animal, the fleas get caught between the teeth and we just scrape the little boogers into the toilet. I get probably 2-4 fleas with each animal's combing. It seems more this year than in the past!

I have 2 children and they've been to the beach at least once a summer since birth. Buy a cheap walker, put your child in it with the waves splashing up to his feet, and park your beach chairs around him. He'll sink some, so you'll have to pull it up. It's great for keeping the sand off of his hands (therefore out of his eyes), and he can kick up a storm. Sometimes there are nice pools made on the beach to set the walker. I've heard Merlefest is a blast. Maybe one day I'll venture there. We have a camper and generator. Six of us girls are spending a girls' weekend together without the hubbies and kids. I've watched the news and read the posts here. I'm concerned about so many students failing the SS graduation test also. What bothers me is that "honor" students have failed. As I scratch my head about the cause of all of this, I wonder if our recovery policy has anything to do with this. I don't know about you all, but I want my children to be responsible for learning what they need to the first time around. Could it be that all of the second, third, fourth, and sometimes fifth chances have inflated students' grades, abilities, and confidence so we (or the students) don't recognize

The next car I get will have to be a hybrid. Did you all see where the Marietta Square has 3 parking places with electrical hookups? We really need to switch to electricity if at all possible. That being said, we'll have to keep our V8 truck to pull our camper like someone else mentioned. I don't see any electric car having the capacity to haul large trailers.

I've never had an iPhone, but I love my Droid Incredible! It has so many cool apps! People are talking about music and I'm a music junky. The Incredible came with a free app "Music Junk". You can download music FREE. I'm guessing that you still have to pay with iTunes. I have a 16g memory card and 2000 songs on my phone. It sounds INCREDIBLE!! Can iphones carry Shazam (another app)? It's awesome...if you're listening to music, in a restaurant, car, store, you can "Shazam" it to learn the artist and name of the song. After I Shazam, I type it in "Music Junk" and get the song.
