When my son went to Austria , he toured the Mauthausen concentration camp . He said it was very upsetting . It was dark , cold & drafty . He took pictures of the shower room that was actually a gas chamber . He also took pictures of the large brick oven which was their crematory . He said they had candles lit and the flames were moving as if there was a breeze .

My sons car & my best friends car both need Premium gas ! So they are already paying $3.38 per gallon Everytime I see that commercial for the Toyota Prius getting 50 mpg , I wash I had one

My best friend works for an insurance company . And her medical insurance and deductable has gone up . Plus she has 3 children and has needed some medical procedures herself this year . Along with baby's ear aches (needed tubes) and daughters strep throat Her deductable has gone up to $50.00 per doctor visit. And every time they need to go to the doc for something The doctor makes them come in 3 times . Like the babies tubes in his ears . The initial visit ($50.00) Made her take the baby in the day before surgery ($50.00) Hospital deductable ($100.00) Take baby to doc 3 days

I have been thinking this myself . I think we are programmed not to speak up ..

snow .. ok Spring ... OK But a Summer like last ... I can't take it My air conditioning has been out the last 2 Summers . I'd rather bundle up in blankets & load the fire place than to sweat to death. So I guess I prefer Spring & Fall

The manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, charged wtih manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson, will be be televised, according to a news report on CNN. Jury selection in the involuntary manslaughter trial will begin on March 24, a judge ordered on Monday, February 7, 2011. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Paster set the trial date and approved televisions in court for the trial, which should have a lot of public interest. The opening statements are likely to be delivered during the first week of April, for the trial, which is expected to last about six weeks

On a positive note . It is bring families back together .. Like in the old days .. I think my kids will be with me a LONG TIME ! I cant imagine them affording to go on their own . If they get married & have children , there is plenty of room for them to stay & save for their future

I have tried to do this for years . But my side & my husband's side are all from European countries & came after WW2 , The problem is I do not know what their real last names were . My maiden name is even a broken down version of a English/Irish name . The names have been 'Americanized'. So I hit alot of dead ends. I have even checked the names from ships that came into New York to the Statue Of Liberty . Many had broken English & they wrote how it was pronounced, or took letters out . I would lOVE to make a familt tree for my kids

She was so Good in Parent Trap & Mean Girls . It is sad to see how Hollywood , New York & all that money changed her She is not very bright to steal a necklace & then wear it & get photographed in it .
