I remember when P.com was a great source about local news, gossip, local politics and taking up causes for animals. I first posted about a dog I caught a woman trying to abandon. She ended up doing so at the Comet trail. The dog was found and we named her Cinderella. A lot of people here helped with this poor sick dog. She found a good home through a rescue, via The Pauding Animal shelter. Then there was Lily, the half dead mamma dog found with her pups.
