You can't really compare a weekly/daily rate to a teen who is going to be babysitting for you on a weekend night. Generally, I paid $2 per hour, per kid... and then I usually added a little to that. So, if I was gone for 4 hours and I had two kids, I would have paid at least $20. But my kids are grown now. My daughter got paid $3 per hour per kid usually. But she would also have the kids in bed asleep when the parents got home. And most generally she would spend the night so that the parents didn't have to bring her home until the morning.
