I agree that we don't need to know more information about the attempt. He has already made a statement admitting that the reports are true. However, I think that the delay of the incident report will do nothing but shroud the event and make people wonder if there is more to the story than what as already been openly spoken about. It does make me sad that a man of such power would seek to kill himself.

When I was in high school my dad owned an auto salvage that only had "antique" cars. Back then that meant 60's and back. Took me a while to figure out why all the guys wanted to hang out at my house. LOL

My son just got his bonus from the military and we are looking to buy a decent car that won't give us trouble for around $2000. or less if possible. If you have one that a 19 year old might like please let me know. He would love to have a car good on gas and will even consider a small pickup. He likes automatics or sticks. TIA!~

Paint is your friend. Yard sales are your best friend! I redecorate every couple of years. Drives my dear hubby crazy. (I think sofa's are disposable, LOL.) Kirkland's is my favorite place if I am going to buy retail. They have awesome sales. Good luck!!~

The health department does them. They are really cheap there. We got our sons done there for EPHS wrestling. (Make sure he takes a shower after wrestling practice. Staph is rampant there as well as everywhere else.)

Prayers for this young man and his family. I was following a trash pickup last week on 381/Dallas Acworth and was watching as the man was darting back and forth to collect the residential trash on that road. It was very dangerous. He was working both sides of the road at the same time. And he was the driver and the pickup guy.

A member here is one of the officers who worked the accident. He can out himself if he wants. LOL But he did post about it on facebook.

We were there just as the wrecker was hauling off the car. Amazing! You could tell where the tree hit the car. That was just simply a miracle. Someone could have easily been killed or seriously injured. Thank you so much for posting the condition of the man. You know, I thought about taking a picture with my phone, but I didn't have a good angle. Sorry. Hopefully we won't see more of this, but old trees, wind and soaked grounds do not make for a good combination.

Wow BB, she is beautiful. That color looks great on her. Sounds like she will give you more chances to attend mildstones in her life. A bad aunt wouldn't even care or know about her nieces homecoming. You are a terrific aunt!

Awww, akat, you know your son better than anyone. What will he want? I think it is important to keep a certain amount of 'tradition' in holidays. If the truth be known, I wish that Santa would still come and visit me. Not with $$ presents, but just with small little things that remind me of why I love spending time with my family. Your son, if he is like mine, would probably love the $$. But my son would probably bowl it on nothingness going out with his friends and have nothing to show for it.
