I don't live in Paulding. I did, though, the first five years of my life. I have relatives, including elderly grandparents living in Paulding.

My hubby and son went while I stayed at home and caught up on some things that had been neglected this week.

We had leftovers from our lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.

I watched this on one of the news networks while I was in the waiting room at the dentist office. Truly touching story and wish we could hear more 'good' stories like this these days!!!

Last year we were about 15th in line and got to see everyone and have our son's picture made with all the drivers. We normally sit in the lower level but last year we were diappointed because they made the jumps bigger and we had problems seeing the other side. So this year we are going to try the middle level about six rows up to see if it is any better. We have a group of 7 going this year!

I have lost count of the number of kidney stones I have had over the years and I am only 34. I have had them completely removed with the net when they get lodged, I have had them "zapped" and have passed some on my own. I have one child and I would give birth any day over passing a kidney stone. When the stone is moving, I can't stay still. It isn't fun and I wouldn't even wish them on my worst enemy. We had some friends invite us over yesterday for lupper (late lunch, early supper) and they grilled some chicken from there. It was very good. She told me where the place is located and I hope to go stock up my freezer this weekend!

Strange combination but here is what the hubs and son want... corn dogs, cheesy broccoli and rice, and baby lima beans.

They provide very good deals, especially for eating and entertainment.

We just use the pressure washer and add no cleaners. It works perfectly fine. Hubby had a couple of tough spots he had to work on a little longer but it looks so much better (guess what he did today)

I got my son a Dodger's t-shirt that he LOVES!!! They are open on Saturday, which is nice since that is the only time we are out that way for Little Man's bowling league.

I have a question. Does Paulding County have many out of county students attending their schools? If so, how much is their tuition? I know here in Haralson we have several from Cleburne County, Alabama, and they have to pay tuition. I need to look at our website to see how much it is now. The same also holds true for kids in the Bremen City School System who do not live in the city.

The opinion is mixed here in Haralson about our 4-day school week.

I don't think it did. Let me look back and see if I can find some old stuff showing which ticket he ran on in the mayoral election in the old Tallapoosa Journals. I will post as soon as I find out if I see anything.

I heard on the radio (you can read the article at www.wcks.com) that Tallapoosa Mayor and owner of West Georgia Golf, Pete Bridges, has announced he is running against Bill Heath. I don't know if it has been posted here yet but thought some of you would like to know. Has anyone heard if any other names have been thrown in the hat?

I had a lodged stone and missed only a week from work when mine was taken out last July. Everyone I talk to have different stories on what they can eat now that they couldn't eat before the surgery as well as things they can't eat now that they could before the surgery. It is strange but I do have some foods that I can't eat like before. Also, I have not had ANY issues with my acid reflux since I am sans gallbladder!
