  1. I get the feeling a lot happens in Paulding that the citizens know nothing about. Doesn't seems to be a good online news source for the county.
  2. You're probably right. Just poking a little fun.
  3. Pcom really has an office? I kind of envisioned a really fat guy sitting in an out building in a trailer park, with a port a pottie nearby.
  4. We did the same thing in the past when the kids were younger.
  5. Keep your current job. If you have the potential for seven figures you wouldn't be on here.
  6. Perhaps all those drunk cops in Atlanta that keep making the news.
  7. Metal recycling facilities attract dirtbags. Just visit one and see for yourself.
  8. I was suggesting the group at Kroger beat someone like you, but not you of course. I'd feel bad beating up an old man.
  9. People like you should be beaten. Not you of course. Can you do some shopping for me at the Kroger in Memphis?
  10. Wait, wait, wait.....as we all know whites can't be victims of hate crimes.
  11. I'm sure he hated it, so yeah, that's a hate crime.
  12. I just want to know when the commercial flights will begin. Hopefully sooner than later!
  13. If you truly got nowhere, meaning you filed a written complaint outlining the details and did not get a response I would research and contact the medical director of each organization and discuss your concerns. I would then contact the agency that regulates EMS in the state and make a complaint. Based on the results of those conversations I would then contact an attorney. If what you say is true (I have no way of knowing either way) I say it highlights the issues of an underfunded fire department. The other problem with allowing a 3rd party to handle EMS is there really isn't munch over
  14. I just speak the truth. Severe pinkeye in the middle of the night.....what a joke.
  15. I was kidding about the donation. When you post on a public forum you are subject to public response. For some reason folks expect medical providers to be miracle workers. Not everyone can be saved. It sucks, but that's just how it is.
  16. There goes my donation to the humane society. At some point people have to quit blaming others and accept responsibility. I stand by my statement. That's why I said I could be wrong. Still don't know the circumstances but likely has nothing to do with the level of care provided and more the perception of care. And if it was a true emergency where ALS first response could have made a difference then she needs to call her commissioner and ask why more funding is provided to the fire department to expand services for the citizens.
  17. Honestly, unless you have significant training (not just reading the internet. Being a CNA doesn't equal significant training, etc.) you likely won't know good from bad care. Many times the layperson's perception of care given is much different than actual care given. A lot to do the the level of friendliness from the crew greatly impacts the layperson's perception of care. The patient can call Metro and convey their concerns. I'm sure they would research and follow up. All that being said, my guess is you called for an ambulance and it was probably BS and someone could have taken t

  19. I see 2 problems with law enforcement these days. 1, The over-militarization of policing attitudes, both in tactics and general unfriendly demeanor. 2, the lack of funding to properly train officers. I understand officer safety, but not everyone is a perp. It doesn't make them less of an officer to be nice. That being said, I feel they generally are out to do a good job, and really aren't hassling folks that that shouldn't be hassled. And knowing all this, if for whatever reason I was stopped, and even hasseled, by the police I'm going to be polite and do as they say to avoid
  20. No water again today in the far north end of the county. Water main break on Dabbs Bridge. Living out here is starting to feel like a third world country. Power and water goes out almost weekly. I've got a generator but am really considering a cistern to help with the water issues.
  21. Too bad we can't execute him in the same manner, assuming he's found guilty.
