Has anyone checked out the go fund me page for this group? They've raised a whopping $735 donated by 15 people in the last month. So 15 people, of the 150,000 in this county, are opposed. Hmmmm. Between the media coverage and social media, if the residents were actually opposed to the commercial airport this group and funds would have rapidly grown. I'd look towards the southwest side of cartersville off 113. Old mill road area. There are some section 8 apartments over that way, but nothing too bad at all. Multiple employers right there (Ingles, advance auto, McDonald's), as well as churches, schools, etc.

He left cartersville because of the gangs and drugs? I'd believe that. There are some seedy areas up there. For some reason I was thinking the high school was somewhat decent. I'd take Cartersville over Marietta/south Cobb any day.

I don't know enough about that setup to know if it is effective. My gut says it is not. But it sure looks like cities like Sandy Springs in Fulton did it right.

Can't prevent all crime but obviously having a police department has helped. One of the safest areas in the state.

The tax payers and public safety departments deserve to be adequately funded first of all.

Lots of tax dollars in the northern part of the county going elsewhere in the county. Would it be beneficial to have a city covering the northern part of the county? Seven Hills/Bentwater area and north to the new schools/county line. I don't know exactly how it works but there must be some decent benefits considering all of the sections in Fulton that have created their own.

Glad he is better. Why praise the lord though? How about praise the medical professionals? If the lord could fix these things wouldn't we just take people to church when they were sick?

Interesting case. Seemingly a reasonable judge could just talk to the kids, find out what they want, try to find out what really happened and execute their wishes. Too bad it's not that simple I suppose.
