LOOK AT WHAT SOUTHERN SCARLETT DID!!!!! SHE SEWED ALL OF THESE ZIPPERS ON FOR ME!!! I bought every 7" and 9" zipper (18 total) I could find at WALMART, so if you can't find one if you need one, now you know why!! (There's 5 or 6 on the back) I used an 18" around the neck and still have to get 2 18's on each shoulder. I've been working on trimming the zippers, and then I gotta paint them silver. (Brass zippers was all I could find) I put the buttons on last week, so when I get the zippers trimmed and all painted it will be done. And I couldn't have d

Shaun Butler was the son of Firewood Man
lowrider replied to GRAYCE's topic in May they rest in Peace
I am so sorry to hear it was Rick's son. We've been buying wood from him for at least 4 or 5 years. My husband found out he was a Butler last time they talked, my husband is a Butler as well, and prolly somewhere down the line related. Prayers for the family during such a sad time. -
Regarding Mower Repairs.....I broke my toe again..
lowrider replied to subby1's topic in Business NEWS
Wow, I'm sorry about the toe man. And I don't think there's much you can do for it either. Try to take it easy and hope it heals soon. -
Half-sister Chynna Phillips told US Weekly that a "part of her died" when Mackenzie Phillips first told her about the sexual relationship in 1997. "They were both doing drugs together," the former member the 1990s pop group Wilson Phillips told the magazine in Friday editions. "After long nights of heroin use, she's claiming that she once woke up and that my father was on top of her having sex with her. Was he actually raping her? I don't know. Do I believe that they had an incestuous relationship and that it went on for 10 years? Yes."

That's why I asked folks not to judge Jaycee Lee Dugard, the girl that was kidnapped at age 11 in California. None of us know what kind of terror and torture she went through. People wanted to know why didn't she escape. To where? and to whom? I'm sure she was brainwashed from the beginning, that her parents gave her away or they sold her or they didn't want her, etc.....and she was his property to do with as he wished. He raped her over and over and over. She had a child at 14. She lived in a shed in the backyard. That's all she knew. By the time

It's heading north, more than northeast. I really don't think we'll get the storm. A few showers if anything, David Chandley just said on the update.

SO how many people in paulding have flood insurance
lowrider replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
When you look at the entire metro area and all of the homes flooded, including the rich folks in Buckhead, I seriously doubt many folks had flood insurance. It's just not something you ordinarily need in this area. I can see some folks in Paulding and Cobb over to Powder Springs that live in flood plain areas, but they still probably didn't purchase flood insurance. I can't imagine the heartache of losing your home and all of the contents. Everything. Including cars. How do you start over with no coverage? What a hit on the economy. The only way I see out for th -

I'm headed to work this morning. I plan on going 120 to Barrett Pkwy by the mall over to Chastain. I don't see any closures that way. BUT, once I get to work I have a mess. One of the girls from work told me last night part of our roof collapsed and my call station is one of those that had to be moved. I wonder where all my stuff is? yuk.

I don't see a cold front in the 10-day forecast. It is calling for light and variable winds, and the temperatures will be going up tomorrow and into Wednesday and Thursday. I know it's calling for thunderstorms, but most are isolated or scattered. I HOPE we have a chance to dry out before any winds come through. I don't want to lose any more trees!
