When you look at the entire metro area and all of the homes flooded, including the rich folks in Buckhead, I seriously doubt many folks had flood insurance. It's just not something you ordinarily need in this area. I can see some folks in Paulding and Cobb over to Powder Springs that live in flood plain areas, but they still probably didn't purchase flood insurance. I'm headed to work this morning. I plan on going 120 to Barrett Pkwy by the mall over to Chastain. I don't see any closures that way. BUT, once I get to work I have a mess. I don't see a cold front in the 10-day forecast. It is calling for light and variable winds, and the temperatures will be going up tomorrow and into Wednesday and Thursday.
