    Have you seen Toccoa Falls? They keep showing it on The Weather channel, it's like a raging muddy river coming over the falls. And they keep showing Powder Springs park, and now they say Hiram has had 16" of rain.

    Wow. I was wondering where the run-off from our lake was going, figured down there where the lakes were it would be closed, I almost drove down there when I got out to get water but changed my mind. Did you get any pics?

    Powder Springs park is on the weather channel again. They said Hiram has had 14" of rain!

    This is my island, my husband moved the bench off of it yesterday at my pleading. Glad he did. And the water is up around the docks, but we do have a spillway so maybe some of it will drain off before the next rain.

    They've reported the first fatality. Gwinnette County - Woman in a minivan at a dip in the road that was flooded and swept her away.

    I went to Food Lion and got enough for me and my mom. Just in case.

    It's just pouring here!! Heard on FOX5 Lindsey Dr in Powder Springs, they are all trapped with flooding of their homes, 4 people in a barn waiting to be rescued.

    On no. Please no wind. All of these trees will come down! I'm looking on the Weather Channel and it says right now wind 4MPH ESE. Today 5-10 ESE. Pray for no wind.

    I just heard on FOX5 that Paulding Schools may open up as shelters.

    Seriously considering it, cause I will have to drive home tonight in the dark, and I really don't want to do that. And the bottom just fell out AGAIN, over here. I'm just waiting on daylight to see what the lake look like.
