My mom used the angle hair to put around the lights to make them "glow" and she taught me to put the icicles on, one at a time. I guess the last time I used icicles was when Jordan was little. I don't even put out half the decorations I have anymore, bah humbug!

This has been on the news for a while now. I don't blame the parents at all for wanting answers, especially after what was done to his body. Last night one station said his nails were clipped to the quick, another station said his nails were gone. My reasoning for that would be to get rid of DNA. And it just so happened that out of the dozen or so cameras in the the gym, the one that would have captured the area where he was found, wasn't "working". I think the boy was murdered, but why would the school cover it up?

Finally, a fire tonight. I've missed my fires, LOL

Here's mine. We got a new, slimmer tree last year and I can only get about half of my decorations on. What I need to do now is get some presents wrapped and under the tree, that would make it look a lot better!

The sun is out and the sky is blue with some clouds left over.............but it's 43 and the wind is blowing and going to get stronger this afternoon. BRRRRRR. But thank goodness, the rain is over!

I only wear hose to funerals and weddings unless it's summertime. Never in the summer. I was talking about foundations, and my kitty can breathe. And foundations are for special occasions only.

Girl, have you looked at these girls and young women? Nothing but bellies and rolls and saggy boobs. It's like nobody cares to keep a nice figure anymore. And they wear the tightest, shortest clothes to show it off, I guess guys don't care anymore either. I always kept myself in shape, it was only when I got into my late fifties I started using foundations to keep the bra rolls under control. Now I need one from top to bottom I always like the way a dress feels over a foundation. Lord, I haven't worn a slip in years. And I've always paid good money for a good bra and it's paid off!

Nobody has mentioned Howard's Deli. Great food and beer. And I know it's not in Smyrna, but when I was in high school it just wasn't the week-end if you didn't go to Shoney's on 41 and ride around and around and around with your glasspacks sounding off.

And it seems as if Kim has picked up Kanye's pout. You never see her smile in her pictures anymore. They deserve each other, I can't stand either one of them. Sometimes I think if I hear KARDASHIAN one more time I'm going to scream But that sure is a pretty baby girl they have.

Proper foundation to me would be a one piece SPANX so that there are no rolls and no panty lines. I wear foundations if I'm going to a wedding or a funeral, and that's the only time I will wear hose, unless of course it's summer time and you'll never get me in hose in the summertime for anything. Well buffed, shaved, tanned legs look great in summer dresses and sandals.

I used to go by there every week or two and pick up some pies......YUM I used to work at the Central Office there across the tracks.

Well, it's still cloudy, it's just the clouds are speading now and then and the sun is actually shining through. I think the rain is supposed to be over by tomorrow.

It's been how many days? We have so much water in the lake my island is nearly covered But rain is a good thing, I've just had enough for now.

I've NEVER understood why folks don't turn their lights on. I even thought it was a law, but you're right, the sheriff's cars don't even turn theirs on. I noticed several last week with no lights. I thought that it was a law that if it is overcast and cloudy, turn your lights on. And you really need to in the rain. Like I told my grandson, I want people to SEE me, and I want to be able to see them.

I liked it so far, but according to what I've read a lot of it is not factual. But I still like it and will watch tomorrow night. I don't think they can outdo Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, but then I was only 17 and I thought the movie was fabulous and it shot those two to stardom overnight.

I loved it, especially growing up........but I can only picture and hear Julie Andrews singing "The hills are alive.............." And, bless her heart, Carrie Underwood has taken some serious criticism for taking the part.

I'm watching Bonnie and Clyde at 9:00 on The History Channel, also on A&E.
