I am passing judgement on the mother because she stated on TV she suffered from the man's abuse and left. She left the children with the animal that abused her. What kind of mother does that? DFACS knew about both cases. The teachers knew and reported abuse for the 12 YO. He had no advocates or family to help. On the other hand, the grandmother knew about the little girl. The step-mother had already been jailed once for child abuse. The little girl was with the grandmother's son. I would have taken that child away from him and dared him to do something about it. I would have done whatever was necessary to keep that baby girl safe. That's just the way it is with me and my kids. You don't mess with my babies.

I think it's a done deal. What I heard on the news this is part of an entertainment complex overall. It will interesting to see what all comes to Cobb. You couldn't pay me to go to Turner Field. If you're talking about Social Security Disability, I don't know of any attorney that charges up front. Once you get approved and get a lump sum before regular monthly payments start, the attorney gets a percentage from that lump sum. It's usually 30% -35%. It's in the contract that you agree upon and sign when you begin the process. Expect to get denied, but the attorney will file the appeal as part of the contract. Or it should be.
