I know that for years, with Memorial Day being the official kick off to summer, that every one does their best to make it a joyous event. If we could all take just a few seconds out of our festivities, to show some respect to those that this day is reserved for and their families. The only thing about "Freedom" that's free is the first four letters. For every right and privilege that we, as Americans, enjoy day in, day out, year to year, some one paid for in blood. In a word, NO! I'm not worried one whit. All of my grand parents ate that stuff and the youngest one to pass was 89 years old, and died from smoking 3-4 packs of Lucky Strikes a day. Just got my power back on. They can say what they want, I've been through 3 tornadoes, & 4 hurricanes, what hit us on and around Poplar Springs Rd. can only be described as "Ya'll remember when Opal came through?" I've been helping cut & move trees from 12:00 till too dark to run a saw, and that just helped clean the drives on a few of my friend's places, still got a LOT more to do later on. In stead of using what they pass off as driving test to get a license, they should install an I.Q. test on the dashboard. Score lower than 100 and you're walking. The one place that folks show just how stupid they are is behind the wheel. Oh, and put in ENGLISH, to help weed out "undocumented workers" (see I can be P.C.), that can't or wont even learn the traffic laws.

Locks keep an honest person honest, and gets all of your stuff busted to boot. If they are gonna rob you they will. In stead of "lo-jack" I use "BLOW JACK", 8 secs. and BOOM! That takes the fight out of any one. And ins. covers it at least once.

The REAL funny part is that it was on a culdesac, I was the last house, saw them coming, and called all of the men that they had just talked too and told them to "Watch This". I haven't lived there for ten years, and according to friends that I still have there, NOT ONE has been back, and this is 1/2 mile from their place of business.

I opened the door one time, naked, with my hair sticking straight out in all directions( thanks to my step son"s moose), a beer in one hand and a .44 mag in my other, asking "What the #### do you want?". Any snake will try to defend itself, and their only defences are "fight or flight". You can corner a Garder Snake and it'll puff up and snap at you. And 90% of folks that die from snake bite DO have a heart attack and not die from the venom, for the most part pit viper venom will just rot the flesh and muscle around the bite and not kill you. Yeah, all of the beaches on the gulf are full of toothies, most just never see them. The odds on getting bitten by one are that you could win the lottery 2 times, get hit by lightning 5 times, and be abducted by aliens, before even seeing one much less bitten. About time the lame stream media gave some air time to the "GOOD" teens in this country, rather than the one always making trouble. I watched the interview on fox, and they did a fairly good job. We should all be proud of these two fine young men.

Some one should get a call in to Tyler Feagan and Dillon Humphries and put them on so that they can get a pat on their backs on air and show the country that not all teens are nuts! What those two did in P.C. was HEROIC and needs to be acknowledged instead of keeping a couple of idiots on the air all of the time.

I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the news because it's all about teens doing wrong, so maybe I missed this on the air. But if I did not it's because they are too busy talking about a few bad ones to give a couple of HEROS their just. So glad to see that they get at least a little blog time for the self sacrifice that they showed. Young men and women like this should be hailed on every station instead of the exploits of a few idiots that get all of the air time.
