  1. Probably just wind up with a third problem to fix.
  2. Unfortunately, rules are rules, OBD2 cars must be tested at the OBD2 port. I doubt if there is any way to input the 2000 VIN into the states computer for the dyno test. They have that all wrapped up with a bow on it, to prevent fraud!?!? In your case, it shouldn't matter as the the CSP controls the timing of the fuel injection, and the air pump provides input through the O2 sensors for mixture control. If they were all that bad, it would run like a Mack truck with flat tires, which its not. You might consider used parts... Check out Craig's list for someone parting out your make and model
  3. I assume that you have tried to address the problems either yourself or have taken the vehicle to a professional, to no avail. I also assume the vehicle performs reasonably well with the codes indicated. First thing to do is Google your vehicles make and model along with one of the error codes, then the other code, to see what other owners have done to correct each problem. The CPS error will be the tough one because it sounds more like dirty contact problem than a failure of the sensor itself. That bad connection could be anywhere at all. The Secondary Airflow Intake sounds like it need
  4. They probably only count the bodies in public view. All the rest that were vaporized are considered "Away from the office"!!!!
  5. An AC/DC walker,,, who would have thunk it!!! A sign of the times I suppose.
  6. Maybe a traffic study to see if a traffic light is needed????
  7. No, Waste Management does not own the Paulding Land Fill, because Paulding does NOT have a land fill. Paulding has a waste transfer location where all the trash is loaded into trailers and hauled to Murray county I believe. As of a week ago the tipping fee was still the $40 a ton with a $10 minimum, which is what they charged many years ago when they first started the waste transfer process. If the trash services are charging more, it is due to increases in overhead and not because the county is ripping everyone off.
  8. Wait til they turn 80 and can't poop anymore,,, it's gonna get real ugly!!!!!
  9. Well,,, if they didn't say Paulding County Georgia,,, tell everyone it was the Paulding County in Ohio... Let those liberal buggers deal with it!!!
  10. My Maint Req light comes on every 5K miles and means "Change the Oil"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Just because he hasn't produced any documentation doesn't mean he doesn't have it in his back pocket, just waiting for them to put up a fence or something that he can sue over! They need to find out for sure if a mistake has been made first, then go for the con. It's important the deal make him feel like a winner, whereby momof3 can keep the con. If all else fails, they might agree to make a 5 foot flower bed they can jointly maintain, which could build friendship, doesn't need to be mowed and will not be usurped by either party!!!!!! PAXILPAPA ps. Where the hell do you come
  12. Has anyone stopped to think that the neighbor may have what is actually a legal claim to that piece of property??? It has happened before in this county where a surveyor has made a mistake in documenting a given property line. I think there is someone in the county records that resolves such disputes, usually through negotiation. But someone needs to get the neighbor to make their case, then come up with a reasonable solution that both parties can live with. Taking pot shots at each other and escalating it into possible violence serves no useful purpose.... WORK IT OUT!!!!!
  13. I was zipping through Kentucky at 3 A.M. coming back from Kansas when what I took to be the CEL came on. Started freaking out, pulled off at an exit with nothing open, then read the owners manual. Turns out it was the 'Maintenance Required' light! Needless to say I was wide awake after that.
  14. I've had that happen, and replaced the cap only to have the light come back on. As it turned out the system was carping about the quality of the gas, and "Bad Gas Cap" was as close as it could come. Found that out from a dealership.
  15. I was in one of them the other day, and they had a sign stating they no longer check codes... I could have sworn it was O'reilly, but I've slept since then, so.... Just go from parts place to parts place until you find one, it's usually something simple. If the light is on steady, it's warning about something. If it starts flashing, stop and seek professional help. Good luck to him!!!!!
  16. Correctamundo... her blood pressure had gotten so low they took her off of BP meds as well, but still drinks the soft drinks though!!! By the way I'm Type II as well, and I had two cans of sugared soft drink last night, and this morning my blood sugar was 87! I can't explain it other than my system seems to be tied to food stuffs and time... If I eat a large meal after 6 PM, my blood sugar will be about 110 to 115 the next morning... therefore I try to not eat after 6,,, and have also lost weight doing that.
  17. PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A hitchhiking robot that captured the hearts of fans worldwide met its demise in the U.S. The Canadian researchers who created hitchBOT as a social experiment told The Associated Press that someone in Philadelphia damaged the robot beyond repair early Saturday, ending its first American tour after about two weeks. "Sadly, sadly it's come to an end," said Frauke Zeller, one of its co-creators. The kid-size robot set out to travel cross-country after successfully hitchhiking across Canada in 26 days last year and parts of Europe. It's immobile on its own, r
  18. Really???? My wife drinks 3 or 4 cans of soft drink a day, (Cherry Coke is her favorite), and five years ago her Type II disappeared completely,,, Dr's don't know why. Coffee contains more caffeine, and is therefore much more heart unfriendly. Mountain Dew contains more caffeine than colas. I'm surprised that no one is jumping up and down about the carbonation warming the world to a deadly level and killing billions of whatever,,, Oh, that's right, BEER has carbonation too!! It's a documented fact that Milk causes changes in brain chemistry. I worked at Coca-Cola for 27 yea
  19. You might try starting at the top and work backward. Go to the principal of Hiram High and find out who the coach is, then ask the coach who to contact. Most times its best to get the info directly from the horses mouth. Best of luck!
  20. I asked that question many years ago, more specifically why they do not use the funds to get rid of the portable classrooms. The response was that SPLOST funds were to be used for beautification and upgrades to the county school system, which in turn makes Paulding County more marketable to manufacturing firms considering relocating here.... I don't see it working!
  21. Actually, New Orleans is New France,,, and I could probably make a decent argument that Houston is El Norte,,, but I'll let that one slide. One thing I did notice about the FBI stats,,, Murder rates are going down in southern states but not the northern states. Maybe it's getting too hot in the south for people to go out and kill each other! Could this be a useful advantage to "Global Warming"?!?!?! Headline-- "Global Warming Saves Lives!" Take that, Peaches.
  22. Then her betrothed sits bolt upright in bed and says, "Aw crap,,,, You're in that family of Palins..... Well, ADIOS".
  23. Ditto what Blunt Trauma said,,, and in addition, what your looking for is probably made from heavy Stainless steel and/or baked enamel, which means big bucks. The first place I would go to is your local Gas company. They usually have a selection of quality products that they guarantee for a number of years. I have given up on gas grills, and have gone back to a Weber mini grill with good ole charcoal,,, and if that tears up I only have a few bucks invested in it. Good Luck.
