Actually after further investigation I don't think the other thing I couldn't remember is actually on Feb 2. But I did learn that Ron White will be performing at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on that day.

Really? I hate to say it but in a few weeks the latest mass shooting will no longer be in the news and most people will have moved on to American Idol.

Common sense would dictate that if you are going to go shoot up some place you would pick a place that you know won't have any armed citizens. Exactly!!!!!

That's not important. What is really important is people will feel better now that everyone will be covered by health insurance (which really won't happen anyway but many tend to ignore that fact).

That is where your logic is wrong. The costs of law enforcement would drop if more law abiding citizens, including teachers, had guns and were trained to use them.

I have a placard that I use when I drive my mother around (she doesn't drive...trust me that's a good thing for everyone! ). I keep it in my car but never use it unless she is with me and will be getting out of the car. If she were more stable in her walking (she uses a walker) I'd probably just let her out and then go park in a regular spot but that isn't always an option.
