I don't understand the logic. It's OK for me to go to a bar and get loaded and then drive home but it's not OK for me to go to the liquor store to take it home to drink in the comfort and privacy of my own home. Disclaimer before someone replies saying that driving drunk isn't OK: By "OK for me to go a bar and get loaded and then drive home" I don't mean OK as in legal. I mean OK as in encouraged by laws that prevent me from buying it at a store to take home instead.
-
Possible dumb question but I don't drink so I just don't know the answer. Is it currently legal to go to a bar or restaurant and drink alcohol on Sunday? I assume it is. If it is, how is that any better than buying it in a store?

Anybody get this on video? Just kidding...

Do you really think enacting more laws limiting guns will actually make a difference? Do you really believe that? Why is it so hard for people to realize that criminals or others intent on causing mass casualties can and will do it regardless of what the govt says they shouldn't do?

I tried their pizza and garlic knots tonight. The pizza was good but a little underwhelming considering the many positive reviews here. The garlic knots were pretty good.

Postman, you continue this insane argument that liberal states have to give conservative states "free money". I've responded to your similar posts in the past with facts that indicate that if you dig deeper beyond the state level the liberal population actually has to be given free money from conservatives. However, you continue to post this inaccurate drivel that appears to help your argument against conservatism. If you were being truthful, you would have ended these posts long ago.

Fontana, Calif., schools get high-powered rifles

So we should simply ignore all the non-students in this country that could do a mass shooting in order to possibly help those that are still in school? It is probably safe to assume that buying guns like this won't be an annual expense. -

May not be as 'positive' as it looks.

Sounds fine to me. They were purchased by a police dept and officers received 40 hours of training. What's the problem? -
I guess for some people it is more important that the kids feel good about themselves even if they are dumb as dirt.

Kindle Editions: Alternative Ways To Read?
cptlo306 replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yep, you can read them using the Kindle Cloud Reader (My link). I believe they also have a Kindle Windows application that you can install on any Windows PC. Edit to add link to all available readers: My link -
Scam. Don't reply to it.

Seems like making kids anxious about getting stuff wrong would be a good thing since they won't be getting coddled too much when out of school and working in the real world.
-
Study: Red ink makes students anxious Sigh...more coddling so as to not offend anyone.
-
You are taking this stuff way too seriously. Next time I'll be sure to type in the sarcasm font.

That does not make it 100% certain despite your being brainwashed to believe it is.
