iPads simply work. They certainly cost more but you know what you're getting. However, both the Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus tablets (I have one of these) are very good too.

What you describe is quite a bit different than if someone steals your ladder and then someone dies while using it.

This is a silly but it drives me crazy. Hopefully someone with fast food experience can explain. Say you go to a fast food drive-thru and order something that takes a few minutes to cook. Nobody is in line behind you in the drive-thru. Why do most fast food joints have you park to wait for the food even though nobody is in line behind you? Why not wait until someone else is in line before asking me to park? Why can't I just sit at the drive-thru window until the food is ready? Wouldn't this save the worker's time since they wouldn't have to bring the food out to my car?

Maybe we shouldn't ban then but regulate them more. No ladders over 3 steps should be allowed. That should eliminate all those evil taller ladders killing people.

What about food? Should we have laws stating that kids must eat soup until they become adults so they won't choke on food?

And we have strict laws against shooting people.

Maybe the govt should restrict all TV's to a max size of 13 inches. Those deadly big TV's are too dangerous for us. Think of the children!
