Well, ever do potatoe patties? leftover mashed potatoes + 1 egg and a tablespoon or so of flour to make them stick together, mix and drop by spoonfulls into greased frying pan turn a few times and flatten a little until done. (I also like to add a little grated onion to these) Anyone noticed how I make use of my leftovers? My Mom raised six children on a military pension. Very little of anything went to waste. I used to keep a plastic container in the freezer for leftover veggies. Notice how you sometimes only have a spoonful or so left after a meal? Put them in the freezer bowl and w

The best hashbrowns are made from leftover baked potatoes, so next time you bake some, bake extra and refrigerate. Then course grate them & fry. I like to add onion to mine while cooking. No government involvement necessary.

Better do it quick then!! Air mattress and getting up to pee very often= not so fun. (p.s.no belly crawling in caves either)

A few bags of lime, like you put in garden soil will help. You need to get some dirt over it. Sorry. Animal control did come put some lime on some for me, when my neighbors dogs killed several of his goats near my house. I don't think that is actually their job, they just too mercy on me, because it was SO bad.

UPDATE!!! The rescue group went back yesterday and found his cat. With a tearful reunion, life is good! He had truely about morned himself to death about his cat. (said that is the only true love he has) House is total loss, but he will survive with a smile on his face, knowing his cat was saved too.

My disabled brother was rescued from his home in Powder Springs and taken to my 80yo Mom's house. His house was soon completely covered with water, a small section of roof was all that could be seen. He was upset that he couldn't find his cat, and insurance will not cover flooding. How do you comfort folks in a situation like this? All I could do was tell them it's just STUFF, they were safe and that's what mattered. There were others that weren't that lucky.
