The above rates are usually for a sitter with several children in the home.....hence $2.50/hr x 6-8 children.....You will not pay that for personal care in your home... I generally pay 8-12/hr depending on who I am hiring their age and experience...

We need those in our neighborhood......apparently the stop signs in our hood do not apply to those who live here. I actually spent a morning last week calling the businesses of marked vehicles who do not feel the need to stop at my 7yo's bus stop....A child was hit at a bus stop 2 weeks ago....when will people learn.

There is a broad range of salary....depending on certification, experience, hours, and bonus schedules. Our graduates make $12-22/ hr (the later is usually with a bonus schedule). Our CA has an unlimited income potential b/c of our bonus program. The average office is open 14-35 hrs a week and may include additional marketing hours....

There are no Tech schools offering a Chiropractic Assistant program???? The medical assisting programs are usually 9 months and 10K...... The coding, billing, x-ray and other procedural techniques are specific to the specialty of Chiropractic. Bonus: medical assisting does not certify you to take x-rays this program does.....

There have been several changes in the math curriculum in the past few years. Replacing texts every time would be extremely expensive. Textbooks are some of the most antiquated tools a school has. In reality by the time information is published in a text it is 15 to 20 years old....from theory to research to text takes time (I used to write text books). With all of the electronic media available, there are better ways to communicate information. Many teachers also present material in creative and interesting ways that are not text based......ie "carrying the 1" has now become "regrouping
