Scary that they were speeding in a schools zone. I had a patient in labor speeding to the hospital a few weeks ago who got stopped (doing 85mph on hwy 75S) The cop did not believe she was in labor and gave them a choice of a tkt or ambulance. They requested EMS (so as not to get a tkt). Upon their arrival they confirmed her labor, but refused to transport (b/c it was not an emergency) The fire and EMS chief on the scene read the cop the riot act for wasting time and money on a BS call to satisfy his big fat EGO.

WC should cover the cost of PT. Paying you while you are there (once it is out patient therapy) is NOT something I have ever seen in practice. Paying for lost wages or time off is usually picked up by your PTO, short or long term disability coverage. You do have the right to request a copy of the policy itself.
