If you choose to go to Kennesaw they can access your records from any of the Wellstar facilities. As a Doctor and a Mommy I would not waste any more time in county hospitals and head to Childrens (www.choa.com). Their clinical approach is completely different and specific to the pediatric population. Just FYI for the community, Paulding Hospital does not have a pediatric unit.

From a clinical perspective... These garments are usually very tight fitting, so it is possible that they could create interference in the nervous system, or alteration of blood flow (the reason why we use compression for trauma). In my opinion, the bigger concern is that they take over the roll of many of the core stabilization muscles. This could create weak spinal support and lead to a host of other bio mechanic and postural issues. Don't forget these are developing bodies. Just my two cents... Dr. Nicole
