No problem. We haven't tried it yet. Sounds like it's awesome. I always thought growing up after learning a certain person didn't really exist that Xmas wouldn't be as fun when you're an adult.. Having younger school age kids kind of puts the believing back into it. I still have just as fun. Can't wait to try.

Nevermind. Although it is attached to an actual normal power pole and technically in a spot thats considered public ,but still somewhat in front of house we would be responsible for the bill b/c the neighborhood isn't owned by the county or have a HOA. It would really only benefit the drivers in the neighborhood. If it was on our property I could understand. Woman at Greystone says its a messed up b/c she says I'm right it is for public use. Oh well, you learn something new everyday. Its no big deal. Just trying to be curtious to everyone that drives through here.

Did not know this. Must have been lucky to get breaks with my employers Georgia is one of 14 states that do not require employers to give lunch or bathroom breaks to their employees. Many Georgia employers voluntarily provide breaks and meal periods so that their employees can work more efficiently during the rest of the day. The only employees entitled to breaks in Georgia are minors. If employees are under 16, an employer cannot require them to work more than three hours a day on weekdays without a break, or for more than eight hours on weekends without a break. The employer does not

No, at least I have never seen it.. We are on the PC water system. It states on the water bill for "for street light maintenance/repairs to call the PC Utilities Coordinator.

A few friends of mine posted this link on FB. They say they had never seen their kids so excited. My links never work though so you might have to copy and paste. http://www.portablenorthpole.tv/home

He's probably one of those lazy a**es I have been starting to complaining about who has a job, but doesn't want to do the work for a paycheck yet us hardworkers (like my fellow Mr Moms) are still at home and pushing the grindstone looking HARD for work to no avail. I'm just going to put I'm Lazy in bold black letters on my resume. Bet I'll get a call that day. Seems in my eyes thats the companies are content hiring complaining lazy people. HE SHOULD BE LUCKY HE HAS A JOB. -
Are there any official updates yet? Not being nosey. Some of us neighbors just on edge still.

Going Black Friday shopping from right here at the puter. We use to go for the great sales, but within the past few years found out that amazon was even better than the stores especially with the Super Saver program (free shipping)

I have found out if they are from the late 80s/90s they are worth nothing no matter how big of name and I have 6 full binders. Signed maybe. The places I have found around here make you leave a msg but they never return calls. I have a Jim Kelly porcelein football card I need priced. Can't find anywhere on the net.

My stepmom is a Store MGR with SEARS up in Indiana, she has to be at work at 8PM on Thanksgiving. Not complaining just comes with the job.Thing I think that stinks is that I guess a lot of the stores/malls up there and elsewhere are having people work in shifts starting at 9PM. Work 6 go home for 2 back for 6 home for 2 back for 6 or somewhere along those lines. To me that would get more tiring than working straight through. -

Well sorry for being a resident of the neighborhood and being alert not nosey, especially when you have kids. IDK about other residents from the neighborhood on here, but some us that live in the back were told about a month ago by LEOs about drifters traveling through this part of the county and squatiing in the empty houses. Were told they were bad news and possibly linked to break ins in the area. Some folks out here have actually caught them but they ran off before LE got here. Its not related but still a hard pill to swallow when you get that info then something strange like this happe
-
That just doesn't sound legal considering there is an open investigation. There are 2 LEOs sitting here in Windmill.
-
Involves me if I'm a neighbor and live in the subdivison especially with not only this happening but some residents have been told of drifters squatting in the empty houses and trees in the neighborhood.
-
We live in Windmill. Prayers for all involved.

Talked to a buddy this morning in Mooresville NC, he said FBI is calling him a "MAJOR" player in a ring going around stealing trailers. So sad.

They say RW isn't a suspect, yet I have heard reports that he basically spoke details of the death in his book.

Just saying I have never heard so many resources being used just for checkpoints. Especially when they could be used on more dire incidents. A Helo, many counties plus state involved in one area etc. Its a bit much.

WOW!!!! What a lot of tax payers money going down the drain. Wish they would work this hard during manhunts and looking for kidnapped/lost children.
