Anyone taking advantage of the free tax

It's in my trunk...it was there when I was over the other day but I was so distraught that I forgot! I'll be gone this weekend -
Anyone taking advantage of the free tax
workingforaliving replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
With a $900 million deficit, I wonder how long these "tax free" holidays will last. How much will the state lose this weekend? -
I was refering to the previous post which mentioned lipo and botox----these are vanity surgeries. Think of how much $ the feds could have made off the Jacksons and Cher alone! I'm just trying to get my money's worth... :oink:
-
Exactly---and so is that microwave dinner that's full of sodium and that dollar box of Little Debbie snacks.... I'm not for taxing groceries, but I wouldn't mind a "fast-food" tax....might keep my behind out of the drive-thru I also like the idea of taxing plastic surgeries----society is getting out of control. What about insurance premiums? The only insurance extra that I know of is the tobacco one.

The economy is stressing a lot of people out---thus the suicide increasing. I don't know why they are feeling the need to take someone else with them though but there has been a nationwide increase of "family" killings. Kill the family then theirselves.....crazy. Then you have the disgruntled lovers..... On the bright side---tax payer money won't be used to find the killer and conduct a trial with a state-appointed attorney.

If the misspelling distracts from the meaning of the statement, then I have an issue. Sometimes a misspelled word can totally change a sentence!

maybe it's like facebook---I post comments and they don't show up.

I KNOW I posted a comment about over-zealous mods.....where did it go?! Are we seriously DELETING posts now???!

go to SeatGuru.com and see. You need to know the type of plane you're flying. My 14 hour Delta flight had little TV's in the back of each seat.

Awesome. Congrats

I wish this was available on my 14 and 8 hours flights ONE WAY! Luckily, we had in-seat entertainment and lots of movies to choose from.

I have a book, yarn, and hooks. If you wait til Aug 10th, I'll give 'em to you.... Actually, I still owe you a box of pots/pans too. I totally forgot to get those to you before I left for my trip!

I signed up to sell Tupperware so that I could get the modular mates for my pantry......and less than a year later, I am overflowing with "just in case" Tupperware (most of it free...but still)......but hey, my pantry is neat and orginized! -

HAVE YOU BEEN TO THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT
workingforaliving replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Romeros is good---but you'll be eating off of paper plates and that may not be the evening you had in mind. It's more of a mid-week, quickeats kinda place. I haven't been to Covallis, but I've heard WONDERFUL things about it! I really should make an effort to go. -
I hope you feel better now

Send it to me LR. It's gone to PM box heaven.

Today I had to decide whether I wanted oreos or nutterbutters for lunch.....I couldn't decide so I ate both. Best.Day.Ever.

My 2 year-old went to tumbling class at Taylor Farm Park. I think it was also offered at Mt. Tabor. Those are the 2 main parks I've seen courses. I also did SoccerTots (google it). It's offered at the Georgian and Seven Hills. It was a little pricey, but she loved it! Most things I see at the park are for 3+. We're starting 1/2 day, MWF, "pre" school at Hope Church in Sept. It's $120/mo.
