Half Price Day Passes to Marietta Amusement Park

I've purchased a few things. I probably come across a useful deal every 2-4 weeks. Recently, I purchaced the $10 painting class---one for me and one for my sister. It's in ATL, but it'll be a fun time. I've purchased the gymboree monthly membership, the Bobby Flay thingy, and the family pass to Fernbank. I also do the referral thing....I've gotten $30 worth of free groupons for it. -
I stood in a dugout.....the game got called....and then I got SOAKED running to my car.

Opinion/Suggestion on Childcare Price
workingforaliving replied to jmt&babyg's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Not for 2 small/young kids that are going to require constant supervisions (as opposed to 10 year old, etc). Minimum wage is just over $7/hour. Offer THAT alternative and see how they feel about it. (kidding, I've started enough fights today) -
Lets see how the election is looking

You may want to reconsider. After talking with my new attorney and spending hours worth of billable hours righting what I PAID Donovan to do in the first place AND the unprofessionalism of his comments ABOUT MY CASE in this thread, I'm not even sure what he did with my retainer fees, prepaid costs, etc except file a form that says he represents me and show up late to court. It's a civil case. I don't trust that he'll be any better than Lane. -
Opinion/Suggestion on Childcare Price

I pay $135/wk for a 3 year old, which includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The times are from 6am til 7pm, but I never take her that early or leave her that late. -
If your kids struggle in math...

When I reward my students with "free time" on the computer, they always ask if they can go to this site. I think the Lemonaide Stand game is their favorite. -
A 16 year old sails around the world ALONE?
workingforaliving replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Is there an expectation that a "reasonable" person would not do that? I don't know if that's common knowledge or not, since I have failed in the 'people should know because it's common sense' dept lately. When dumbass people do dumbass things and it costs resources/money to undo those dumbass things, then said dumbass should have to recoup the costs to the agency whose resources/money was used. Call it a "dumbass tax" if it makes you feel better. -

I agree. EMERGENCY services should not have fees associated with them. However, if your actions are negligent and that negligence leads up to an emergency that any reasonable person would have been able to forsee and prevent, then there should be a cost associated. To me, this is a case of "I wanted to do something dangerous and now I'm in trouble." -
I've never really understood alimony. Child support, I get that....but paying to support an adult? I don't get that.
-
Child support AND alimony? Wow.

I'm glad she was found safe. I hope that her family has to pay the costs of finding her....there were a lot of resources used. (But I feel that way about most situations....you cause the trouble, you pay for it) -
Did the people who complained about the $1 get theirs?

C's are average.

is this like the slapbraclet fad of the 80s? Those were awesome.

Any word on what's going in at New Georgia? They look to be clearing for something.

I have a Nexar. It was the only one less than $100 three years ago when I got it. It's alright. I have an atlas that I keep in my car (it was a requirement when I turned 16 and got my own car----change a tire, change the oil, learn to read a map)....it's fun to take it out and read alternate routes....it totally freaks out my GPS if I want to take a "scenic" route somewhere instead of an interstate route.

My 3 year old is crazy about these things. She learned about them at school

Most of what Paulding was filling at the job fair the other day was special ed....interrelated mostly. It may be worth it for some to sit and take the GACE to get special ed certified. It's not easy, though....(this coming from someone with a master's in special ed).

There should be a book list somewhere....get the number and have them look for it. Teachers had to inventory their books before leaving on Tuesday. Worst case, you'll have to go up there and find it yourself. Depending on the cost of the book, it may be worth it
