She reminded me of my grandfather who had the same problem. When I was a kid, he had a brain tumor, and during the surgery they clipped a nerve. He was paralyzed on one side of his face for the rest of his life. He used to wear an eyepatch because one eyelid didn't work anymore. It made him look sort of like a pirate.

I'm looking through Zenni glasses right now. Progressive bifocals, scratch resistance coating, with spring-flex earpieces. I paid about $58 for them, and it was going to be $300+ at the optical shop even after my VSP insurance covered a lot of the costs. I've got a pair of bifocal sunglasses to keep in each vehicle that cost even less.
