  1. Maybe Blockbuster should put kiosks in their Blockbuster stores.
  2. "On a mission from God....." Jake and Elwood could soon be cruising down the Mississippi toward New Orleans in a new TV series being promoted from John Belushi's former wife and Dan Akroyd. This would be a great venue for presenting blues acts from the contemporary. I sure hope this makes it to production! Blues Brothers To Be Made Into A TV Show
  3. Thanks for those links! This is just a simple name change (and just a small change at that). I think we can handle it now.
  4. Hope they do better than the girls.
  5. Well, this first girl is not impressive.
  6. Is it just the girls tonight?
  7. Any one out there have a recommendation for an attorney to assist with changing and registering a fictitious business name (sole proprietorship, existing business, change of name only). This is just a name change, but we need to get it registered with county, state, and federal agencies. Anyone ever use an attorney around here to do such a thing that you would recommend? Thanks!
  8. To stay out of the left lane when driving slower than others.
  9. I wish they would take the flock that has established permanent residence at the pond by my office. They make the parking lot a mine field to maneuver through. And, the sidewalks are almost impassable. Those things poop more than any creature I have ever seen.
  10. You need another Farmville neighbor? I'm available! I'll feed your chickens!
  11. Maybe to make up for all the boredom from the delays, they could liven things up by having the drivers turn right occasionally.
  12. But the really important question is do you have bread and milk?
  13. Only if you get the augmented 7th one.
  14. I joined in 1969, but there was some sort of problem confirming my membership. It finally got sorted out a few years later.
  15. HSUS sucks. They have shared executives with PETA for a long time. They support ALF, the animal rights terrorist organization. They don't run animal shelters. They are a humane organization in name only. They capitalize on the confusion their name evokes. activistcash.com
  16. Two for the Subby side. (If you're counting from the other thread, I raised my hand in there too.)

  18. You did. I said: and you replied: Are you trying to change what you originally said? Well, I don't know you, so please forgive me for taking you at your word on what you have written. Sorry, but your topic is a lighting rod for jokes. Opinions do not constitute evidence of the existence of improbable creatures. I had some strange happenings when I was six that led me to conclude Santa Claus was a real living being. I was wrong, and as I grew older, things were pointed out to me that showed my original conclusions were erroneous.
  19. More than enough? Come on now. That's a new definition of "None". There is no hair, excrement, or DNA evidence that provides any clue that a bigfoot creature exists. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and all that. I don't think you have any evidence, as you claim you do. If you did, you would have the attention of the rational world. Produce it, and convince the world. Your "credible scientists/professors" haven't been able to provide any credible evidence. Jeff Meldrum has been ostracized by the scientific community. He is described as a "faith-based pse
  20. I'm getting a good chuckle from the discussion of the ghoulies and ghosties and long leggedy beasties, and things that go bump in the night. If there were any such critter habitating around here, or elsewhere, there would have to be a breeding population. There would also have to have been a breeding population for a long time back. There would be some credible evidence that would have been discovered. A tooth. A forearm bone. Hair. Excrement. So far, not one credible shred of evidence has been presented, and with good reason. Bigfoot is about as real as the tooth fairy, or winged
  21. We drove by there just after it happened. The wrecker was loading a pretty damaged car, but we didn't see any casualties. God's special police were there (thats what I've heard the local law enforcement call the state police force). There was one lane open, and the general public were doing a good job of deciding which direction of traffic should have the right of way.
  22. Employee D gets fired for something totally unrelated, and decides to poke his former employer a little. He calls the National Labor Relation Board, and complains that B worked overtime, and didn't get paid for it. An investigation confirms B was on the job covering for A, and B in fact did not get paid by the employer. B asserts he did it voluntarily, and does not want the overtime premium. The labor relations board also discovers the practice has been going on for quite some time, and involves many employees. So, they levy a fine on the employer (the county) for B's overtime premium for
