I was on my way home last night after a loooong day shopping with my oldest daughter and sweet baby boy and took a detour down Ridge Rd to see if they were still open. It was 7(ish) and there were a few cars in the parking lot so I stopped in....they were officially closed but let me come in a talk a bit. Everyone was SUPER sweet and they gave my DD a cupcake that we shared on the way home . I'll be back by next week during business hours to get some local honey for our allergies and some yummy treats!! Welcome to town Bumble Bee Bakery !!

Yes!! I just Googled Winfield after I typed my post on here, I had never really looked anything up about the town and knew nothing about it since we moved when I was so little. There's a pic of Central DuPage Hospital and I showed my daughter, she thought it was cool to see where I was born! I like your vette, that's another thing we have in common. I don't have one but grew up with them and learned to drive a stick in one!

Laminate will never scratch (a must if you have pets or kids) and if you get it thick enough it shouldn't get indentions. One of those pics had a huge scratch and I'll bet it wasn't the laminate...We asked realtor which increases the value more and she said it depends on who the buyer is so it's personal preferance.

One day several months ago I was on 278 behind a car with all these "save the planet" bumper stickers. She threw he cigarette butt out the window when we were at a light. I wanted to say "way to do your part". Another time I was behind a car that threw 2 fast food cups, burger wrappers and maybe a fry box out the window, and they had kids in the car....what a way to set an example. If I were a police officer I'd fine every litter bug I see.
